Research On The Political Participation Of New Social Strata In XJ City

With the development of the reform and opening up and the socialist market economy,the non-public economy practitioners have rapidly grown into a new social group and class,and a new social class has emerged,whose status and role have achieved qualitative development in the market economy environment.According to the regulations on the Work of the CPC United Front newly revised by the CPC Central Committee in January 2021,the new social class mainly includes: management and technical personnel of private enterprises and foreign-invested enterprises,employees of intermediary organizations and social organizations,freelancers,and new media employees,etc.The new social class is an important beneficiary group of China’s socialist economic development,and it also has a great impact on the development of China’s social and political stability and political democracy.As an important product of China’s reform and opening up,new social classes are also growing rapidly with the development of market economy.Especially,as an important measure of modern political democracy,political participation has attracted more and more attention.In-depth study and exploration of the new social class political participation in China is of great significance to the development of grassroots public management,the provision of better public products and services by government departments,and the sustainable and healthy development of socialist modernization.Therefore,this paper comprehensively applies the new public service theory and civil society theories to explore the current situation of political participation of new social classes in China from the perspective of public management and finds the following main problems: The new social class’ s active participation in political life is insufficient,the participation motive is utilitarian,the organized participation is not formed,and the channels of political participation are not smooth.These problems are directly related to immature participation consciousness,lack of correct understanding,imperfect system and weak strength of united Front department.In order to better promote the active participation of Chinese citizens in political activities and promote the orderly and healthy development of China’s new social class,the following countermeasures are put forward: First,strengthen the guidance of the new social class in political participation;Second,strengthen the party’s political leadership;Third,establish and improve the political participation system construction;Fourthly,improve the expression mechanism of political participation interests;Fifth,establish the "four mechanisms and one platform" system.
