Employment is not only a fundamental right for everyone,but also a fundamental guarantee for their survival.As a vulnerable group in society,people with disabilities should also safeguard their right to employment.The full protection of the employment rights of disabled people is not only beneficial for them to improve their living conditions,realize their self-worth,and even enhance their social status through employment.The improvement of the employment rate and ability of people with disabilities is also of great significance for the progress and development of the entire society.However,as of2022,the employment situation of disabled people in Wuhai City is not optimistic,with only 2700 out of nearly 13000 certified disabled people achieving employment.Among the disabled people in the employment age group(male 16-60 years old,female 16-55 years old),there are still more than 4000 disabled people who have not achieved employment,which to some extent seriously hinders the development of the disability cause in Wuhai City.With the advent of the Internet era,the rapid development of the “Internet plus”economy has brought dawn to the employment of the disabled.Many fast developing cities,such as Beijing,Shanghai,Tianjin,Jiangsu,etc.,have opened a new situation of employment for the disabled by using “Internet plus”.At present,Wuhai is also gradually trying the new form of “Internet plus employment”.This article conducts research on the current situation of Internet home employment for people with disabilities in Wuhai City through literature collection,survey questionnaires,and interviews.It is found that in the initial exploration stage,there are problems such as insufficient policy protection,unclear role of employment service institutions,lack of suitable employment positions,insufficient reserves of Internet knowledge,shortage of vocational skills,and weak willingness of people with disabilities to engage in Internet home employment.Furthermore,it was analyzed that the policies and regulations behind the problems were incomplete,the content was not specific,employment service institutions did not achieve standardized construction,enterprises still had biases towards people with disabilities,there were misunderstandings about policies,special education had shortcomings,the vocational skills training system was not sound,people with disabilities had limited conditions,and their families did not support them.In this context,this paper,through in-depth analysis of the reasons behind the problem of home employment of the disabled in Wuhai City under the background of “Internet plus”,combined with the analysis results,broke the old ideas,developed new ideas,studied and explored to strengthen the main responsibility of the government and improve the construction of laws and regulations;Fully leverage departmental functions and optimize employment service levels;Strengthen social coordination and improve the external employment environment;Promote the development of special education and enhance vocational skills training;Reduce the impact of one’s own disability and expand the role of family support through various optimization paths. |
