Research On The Inner-party Democratic Construction Of The Communist Party Of Vietnam Since The Doi Moi

The construction of democracy within the proletarian party is an important component of Marxist party theory and party building.The construction of inner-party democratic is an important guarantee for enhancing the innovative vitality of the Party and consolidating its unity,which is related to the stability of the Party’s ruling position and the long-term stability of the country.In the 1970 s,the Communist Party of Vietnam copied the highly centralized political system model of the Soviet Union and formulated development policies that were incompatible with Vietnam’s national conditions,leading to serious rigidity of the political and economic system and a development crisis.In 1986,the Sixth National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam began the process of reform and opening up.As the only ruling party,the Communist Party of Vietnam is vigorously promoting the construction of socialist democratic politics,while continuously strengthening the construction of inner-party democracy and broadening the channels for inner-party democratic.By improving democratic decision-making and elections within the Party,strengthening democratic supervision within the Party,and ensuring the fundamental rights of Party members,a series of achievements have been achieved,especially in unblocking channels for the communication of information within the Party and promoting the openness of Party affairs,enriching and developing the theoretical and practical aspects of the construction of democracy within the Party.Since the reform and opening up,the Communist Party of Vietnam has withstood the impact of the upheaval in Eastern Europe and the collapse of the Soviet Union by continuously strengthening the construction of inner-party democratic,greatly improving the political and ideological awareness of party members and leading cadres,ensuring the dominant position of the majority of party members,maintaining the stability of domestic political society,and cultivating a good inner-party political ecology to achieve intra-party unity and further promote the reform and opening up.The democratic construction within the Communist Party of Vietnam is the theoretical and practical result of the creative combination of the basic principles of Marxism with the specific national conditions and local ethnic culture of Vietnam.The Communist Party of Vietnam has explored a way to fully promote democracy within the party under the condition of one-party governance.Although there are still issues such as insufficient theoretical research to keep pace with the times,and the mechanism for ensuring the rights of party members to be further improved,it has implemented advanced practices such as the "public awareness,public consultation,public conduct,and public inspection" system of party affairs,the intra-party inquiry mechanism,and the differential democratic election system.Through intra-party democracy,it has driven people’s democracy,promoted the two-way benign development of political and economic innovation,and consolidated the ruling position of the Communist Party of Vietnam,Improving the Party’s governance level has laid a solid foundation and also provided effective reference for the construction of inner-party democracy in other socialist countries.The article takes the reform and opening up of Vietnam as the background,takes the democratic construction within the Communist Party of Vietnam as the research object,and uses the relevant theoretical interpretation of Marxist democratic construction within the Party as an analytical tool.By exploring the theoretical expression and practical measures of democratic construction within the Communist Party of Vietnam since the reform and opening up,it aims to further enrich the theoretical and practical connotations of socialist construction in Vietnam,And provide experience and reference for the construction of intra party democracy in other socialist countries around the world.
