Study On The Model Of Agricultural Science And Technology Extension Led By College Student Village Officials

China is a big agricultural country,and agriculture is the foundation of the country.In China,the farming rural population generally has a relatively low level of education,and there are few talents who can master scientific knowledge.To improve the level of agricultural science and technology and increase labor productivity is of great significance to the development of China’s agricultural economy.College student village officials refer to college graduates who are selected and sent to rural areas to support medical services,agriculture,education and poverty alleviation by the government after certain evaluation standards.Since 2008,the government has carried out a large-scale program of college students serving as village officials.College students as village officials can inject new vitality into the countryside.At the same time,college students as village officials have a higher level of knowledge and innovative ideas.They are the new force that can take on a new look of the countryside.Changtu County of Liaoning Province is a famous agricultural county and grain production area.In recent ten years,with the implementation of the policy of college student village officials,the local agriculture and rural construction has made rapid changes.In particular,it aims to develop food production,aquaculture industry and cash crop planting in a higher and more effective way,introduce a batch of equipment for comprehensive mechanical processing to promote agricultural production,utilize crop straws with high quality and high efficiency,reduce waste of agricultural resources,improve agricultural production efficiency and economic efficiency.It is of great significance to regional development and national agricultural development.This paper takes Changtu County as an example,through field investigation,interviews with college student village officials and local farmers,and analyzes the situation of college student village officials promoting agricultural science and technology.College student village officials,as intellectuals sent to the countryside,have important responsibilities for the promotion of agricultural science and technology.The study found that some achievements have been made in the current work,but there are still some problems,such as: it is difficult to deepen the promotion of agricultural science and technology;The ability of college student village officials leads to communication barriers and weak sense of responsibility,and the problems caused by the unbalanced development of local policies at all levels.After analysis,this paper puts forward a series of suggestions.First of all,the quality and knowledge level of college student village officials should be improved.And,college student village officials also should be guided to deeply understand the rural situation.Second,knowledgeable farmers should be cultivated by strengthening the cooperative learning consciousness of farmers and the rural science and technology information.Finally,the government should improve policies,improve the promotion mode,strengthen supervision,and expand the channels of capital investment to form a comprehensive agricultural extension management system and establish the operation mechanism of project development.
