| Happiness is the eternal pursuit of human beings. The Marxist concept of happiness has scientifically clarified the essence of happiness and provided the correct guiding direction for human beings in their pursuit of happiness. The change of the main social contradictions in the new era and the deepening of the structural reform on the supply side require many high-quality technical and skilled talents, skilled craftsmen and great artisans, and promoting the high-quality development of modern vocational education has become an important task.As a constituent group of vocational education, higher vocational students need to deepen their understanding of happiness based on the Marxist concept of happiness and meet the material aspirations and spiritual needs of higher vocational students in order to better serve the country and society. In view of this, taking the Marxist concept of happiness as the theoretical basis, analyzing the influencing factors of higher vocational students’ happiness and exploring effective ways to enhance their happiness are of great theoretical and practical significance for building a happy and harmonious society. This study is based on the Marxist concept of happiness, and examines the enhancement of happiness among higher education students today. The Marxist concept of happiness discards Western hedonism and money-worship,which are profit-oriented at the level of material life, and also overcomes the asceticism of traditional rationalists, proposing that happiness is based on historical materialism to explore the happiness of the people, and is also the value and meaning that people spend their lives pursuing. At present,China has entered a new journey of building a modern socialist country and achieving the second hundred-year goal. The way in which we seek happiness for the people is a matter of the speed and quality of the realisation of the Chinese dream,so it should be a matter of course to use the Marxist concept of happiness to guide the practice of happiness enhancement, rooted in China’s excellent traditional culture.Although the state recognises higher vocational education as university-level education, the traditional concept of "general education over vocational education" has shackled many institutions to be reluctant to acknowledge the "vocational" nature of their education, and the social prejudice against higher vocational education has made it difficult for higher vocational students to be recognised by all sectors of society. The level of well-being of higher education students is worth studying in depth. In recent years, the pace of popularisation of higher education and industrial transformation and upgrading has accelerated, and while higher vocational education has received national attention, whether the happiness of higher vocational students has been improved.guided socialist society to analyse and generalise the factors influencing their well-being.Based on the findings, this study proposes corresponding strategies to enhance the happiness of senior students based on the Marxist concept of happiness in four dimensions: personal factors, family factors, school strategies and social support,so as to prompt senior students to know themselves in practice and create happiness in their struggle. |
