For a long time,with its superior natural and cultural conditions,Argentina has gradually formed its own characteristics in the process of agricultural production,especially in wine and spirits.The local characteristic wine produced in Argentina is very unique and has been recognized by consumers all over the world.This excellent local characteristic product has played an irreplaceable role in Argentina’s national economic development,but also brought a high reputation to Argentina’s agricultural products.It must be recognized that Argentina’s mature geographical indication protection system has played a great role in it.In order to ensure that the quality of these characteristic products will not change,and prevent agricultural producers in other regions from using the names of geographical indications of characteristic agricultural products at will,Argentina has constantly revised and improved the corresponding special laws on geographical indications,which has promoted the development of the system.China has to put one belt,one road,and the other nineteen in the important position to push forward the new pattern of comprehensive opening up."One belt,one road" covered most of the countries in the development process,these countries have rich and varied products.One belt,one road map,will be able to boost the income of local producers and promote the development of "one belt and one road".However,one belt,one road,and the other,all of them are still affecting the protection of geographical indications in China.Since the 21 st century,China’s geographical indication protection system has been in a state of rapid development,but at the same time,we should also see that there are many imperfections in China’s geographical indication protection system,among which there are many reasons,such as the late start time,less accumulated experience,not adapting to the national conditions and so on.In order to improve the legal system of geographical indications in China,we should learn from the experience of Argentina’s geographical indication protection system and actively improve our legislation.The research focus of this paper is to make reference to Argentina’s geographical indication protection system,and to make suggestions for the current problems in China.At the beginning of the article,the development history and evaluation of geographical indications in Argentina are described.When we study the system of a country,its historical background is very important,which is very helpful for us to understand the reasons behind its system.Then it gives a brief introduction to the protection system of geographical indications in China,and lists several obvious problems existing in the current system of our country.The last chapter explores the reference significance of Argentina’s geographical indication protection system to China,and confirms the significance of China’s reference to Argentina’s system through comparison.Finally,combining with the problems of China’s system and Argentina’s system experience,it puts forward several suggestions to improve China’s geographical indication protection system.
