The spirit of Resisting U.S.Aggression and Aiding Korea is one of the most important spirits in the spiritual genealogies of the Communist Party of China,which highlights the native land emotion and international responsibility of the Chinese nation.When the war was broken out in Yalu River in the early days of the founding of New China,the Party Central Committee,with extraordinary courage and resource,made a historic decision to send the Chinese people’s Volunteers to resist the U.S.and aid the Korea to protect the Chinese motherland.The spirit of Resisting U.S.Aggression and Aiding Korea was born during the fierce war which was glutted with blood and fire.The great spirit mainly consists of the spirit of patriotism,the spirit of revolutionary heroism,the spirit of revolutionary optimism,the spirit of revolutionary loyalty and the spirit of internationalism.At the present,we are ought to learn from the spirit of Resisting U.S.Aggression and Aiding Korea because of the volatile international situation and complex external challenges.The spirit plays a vital role on the rise and decline of the country,even directly affects the long-term development of Chinese nation.It is necessary to make a depth analysis of the connotation and time value of the spirit of Resisting U.S.Aggression and Aiding Korea during the new era when China is at the intersection of the two centenary goals.Beyond that,boosting cultural confidence and national confidence are also obviously important,which can provide mental power for the new area to build a socialist country with strong culture.The thesis takes the Chinese Communist Party’s values of seeking truth,kindness and beauty as the starting point to analyzes profoundly the five scientific connotations and four basic characteristics of the spirit of Resisting U.S.Aggression and Aiding Korea.The means of literature comparison and survey research were used in this study,which are on the basics of the background and formation conditions of the era in which the spirit arose.Based on the theoretical study of the spirit,the value of the times of the spirit has been unearthed,namely,to provide sustenance for the construction of the Party in the new era,to build a socialist modern country to coalesce synergy,and to manifest its role in upholding world peace and justice.The spirit of Resisting U.S.Aggression and Aiding Korea should be vigorously promoted in order to strengthen cultural confidence and build a socialist cultural power.A three-step strategy is adopted for the promotion of the spirit of Resisting U.S.Aggression and Aiding Korea.The first step is to strengthen the research and interpretation of the spirit in a multi-dimensional perspective;the second step is to deepen the recognition of the spirit on the basis of research and interpretation in order to integrate it into the whole process of building a modern socialist country;the third step is to focus on the shaping and practicing of the spirit of Resisting U.S.Aggression and Aiding Korea on the basis of recognition,besides,it is crucial to grasp the main practical subject and build a good practical platform.The spirit of Resisting U.S.Aggression and Aiding Korea will be carried forward on the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics in a new era with the three-step strategy.
