Under The Background Of Gender Imbalance In Northern Henan Rural Male Marriage Payment Questions Study

The frequent flow between urban and rural areas and the family planning policy have jointly caused the serious imbalance of the gender structure of the marriage-age population in rural areas.Under this background,the practical problems such as "rural bachelor crisis" and "sky-high bride price" are very concerned by the academic circles.Taking Z Village in North Henan as the site of field survey,this paper studies the phenomenon of male marriage payment in the rural marriage market,and focuses on the influence mechanism of male marriage payment and the practical problems caused by male marriage payment.This study of the male marriage payment refers to the rural family from mate to marriage concluded all the economic pay,this paper is divided into dowry(big gift,gift,sanjin,change,etc.),wedding(wedding banquet and wedding banquet),other classes(furniture,clothing,all kinds of red envelopes,etc.).The paper mainly adopts the method of semi-structured interview,taking Z village,north H city as the survey site,investigating 67 families in the village,including the marriage payment cost and the influence mechanism of the village head and the matchmaker,and the practical problems of marriage payment after the reform and opening up of Z village,so as to grasp the problem from a longer time line.The first part of the article is the introduction.This paper analyzes the research background and significance of the research subject,the man’s marriage payment,explains the author’s research purpose,the research ideas,the innovation points and the deficiency,and introduces the main concepts and theories of the paper.The second part of the article is a literature review.The definition,the influencing factors,the function and the other contents of marriage payment are summarized,summarized and reviewed.The third part of the current analysis of marriage payment in Z Village.Introduce the basic situation of Village Z from the aspects of geography,economy and population of village Z,highlight the characteristics of gender imbalance of population in village Z;introduce the marriage process and payment content and characteristics of village Z village,and analyze and present the payment cost of marriage in Village Z in the past ten years.Part 4 of the article,in the context of gender imbalance.The author analyzes from the level of individual,family,society and policy.The individual level includes economy,culture and emotion,the family level includes scale,strategy and combination mode,the social level includes local consensus and the scope of intermarriage circle,and the policy level includes population policy and marriage policy.The problems caused by the marriage payment of men in the countryside of northern Henan Province.They are the materialization of marriage concept at the individual level,the decrease of fertility intention,the decline of family consumption level,the intensification of family contradictions,the prominence of social pension problems,the damage of social atmosphere,and the increase of the number of bachelors.The sixth part of the article is the countermeasures and suggestions.From strengthening the living security of farmers,cultivating the concept of marriage and childbearing in the new era,promote the change of rural customs,improve the construction of rural legal system.
