Study On The UK’s Global Britan Strategy In The Post-Brexit Era

On 31 January 2020,the UK completely left the EU and officially entered the post-Brexit era.Against this backdrop,how to break the development dilemma has become an urgent issue for all sectors in the UK.On 16 March 2021,the Global Britain in a competitive age: The Integrated Review of Security,Defence,Development and Foreign Policy was published.Considering the UK’s international status and influence,this thesis will further analyse the background,details and reality resistance to the strategic on the basis of reviewing its development history with the hierarchical analysis method.At the same time,the "Indo-Pacific tilt" proposed in the Integrated Review will also be examined in order to judge the UK’s strategic motives and provide policy references for China.To sum up,the Global Britain is a policy adjustment in the post-Brexit era.Therefore,the foundation for a "Global Britain" has yet to be formed since the interest orientation,discourse system,hands-on practice and historical position.
