Lenin’s National Theory And Its Contemporary Enlightenment

From the end of the 19 th century to the beginning of the 20 th century,in the face of the old system of Czarist Russia and the intensified internal contradictions after the First World War,Lenin combined the ethnic theory of Marx and Engels with the actual situation of the country’s multi-ethnic,successfully solved the multi-ethnic problem in the construction of the Soviet Union’s socialist country,and formed a unique Lenin ethnic theory.In this paper,the ethnic problems in the process of the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era as the background,through the interpretation of Lenin’s ethnic theory,to deal with the ethnic problems to provide important reference and enlightenment.Based on Lenin’s classic works,this paper makes a detailed review of Lenin’s relevant literature.This paper is divided into two parts: the introduction and the main body.The introduction part mainly expounds the research background and methods,innovations and significance,and sorts out the literature review through the research status at home and abroad.In the body part,firstly,from the theoretical origin of Lenin’s national theory and the background of The Times;Secondly,it discusses the contents of Lenin’s national theory,including: Lenin’s national colony thought,Lenin’s equality thought,Lenin’s national unity thought,Lenin’s national self-determination thought;Thirdly,on the basis of the analysis of its content,summed up the achievements and shortcomings of Lenin’s national theory in practical application;Finally,combining the actual situation of Chinese national work,it provides reference for Chinese construction of harmonious ethnic relations in the new era,and further improves the ethnic theory system with Chinese characteristics.
