Research On Mao Zedong’s Governing Ability Of Party In The Early Period Of The Founding Of The People’s Republic Of China

There is a certain difference between party governing ability and party building.It has a kind of problem orientation and is a kind of ability for the Communist Party to take a series of measures against the problems existing in the party,so as to maintain the party’s advanced nature.In this process,problems existing in the party should be solved mainly by strengthening the management of party members,officials and party organizations.During its centennial journey,the Communist Party of China has always paid close attention to party self-improvement,conducted party governance in close accordance with the specific tasks of the Party in different historical stages,strengthened its own governance,and accumulated rich experience.In the early years of the People’s Republic of China(1949-1956),as the main forerunner of the ruling history of the Communist Party of China,Mao Zedong was keenly aware of many problems within the Party and deeply thought about the new subjects and challenges faced by the Party after it came into power.He put forward valuable theories and propositions on governing the Party.This paper gives a comprehensive overview of some measures taken by Mao Zedong to improve his ability to govern the Party.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,this paper mainly discusses from four parts.The first part mainly expounds the background of Mao Zedong’s ability construction of governing the Party.From the perspective of world situation,national conditions and Party situation.This paper expounds the contents of the complex and severe international situation,the urgent task of building a new China,and the need of the Party’s own construction.The second part focuses on the concrete practice of Mao Zedong’s party capacity construction.It mainly includes the following five aspects: strengthening the Party’s ideological cohesion ability;strengthening the Party’s organizational combat ability;enhancing the Party’s self-purification ability;enhancing the Party’s ability to resist corruption and change;enhancing the Party’s system construction ability.The third part is the summary of the important significance of Mao Zedong’s party governing ability construction.Its significance has three aspects.First,it is helpful to consolidate the party’s ruling position.Second,it helps to form a new path of strict party self-governance.Third,it helps enrich marxist-Leninist thought on Party building.The fourth part focuses on the experience and realistic enlightenment of Mao Zedong’s party governing ability construction.The experience is summarized from three aspects.First,taking history as a mirror,pay attention to sum up experience from history.Secondly,governing the Party closely with the central task of the Party.Finally,we should focus on the key minority of party members and cadres.The practical enlightenment is mainly developed from three aspects.First,we will unswervingly govern the Party with strict discipline.Secondly,we must pay attention to the ideological quality of party members,strengthen their ideals and beliefs.Third,we should adhere to the method of going deep into the grassroots and getting close to the masses in practical work.To sum up and study Mao Zedong’s thoughts and practice on the construction of party governance capacity is helpful to draw lessons from history,further strengthen the CPC’s ability to govern the Party.It can provide useful help for party governance and ensure the core position of the Party’s leadership.
