A Study Of The Dissemination Of Marxism By Chen Qixiu In The First Half Of The 20th Century

Chen Xix,a famous early Chinese economist,was the first translator of the Chinese version of Capital and an early communicator of Marxism.He was deeply influenced by traditional Chinese culture and shared the sentiments of the outstanding intellectuals of modern times who were concerned about the country and the people and sought to save the country and strengthen the country,and devoted his life to the academic research and dissemination of Marxism,which is still a guiding role and inspiration for the dissemination of Marxism in the new era.The main body of this thesis consists of four parts,mainly discussing the motivation for Chen Qixiu’s dissemination of Marxism,the content of his dissemination,the main channels and the revelations of Chen Qixiu’s dissemination of Marxism,so as to present a clear overview of Chen Qixiu’s overall dissemination of Marxism and how he disseminated Marxism.In the first part,the motivation for Chen Qixiu’s dissemination of Marxism is analysed from three perspectives: the specific historical context,the influence of mentors and friends,and the combination of Chen Qixiu’s personal qualities and his choice of political values.This provides an understanding of the reasons why Chen Qixiu chose to spread Marxism.In the second part,the main contents of Chen Qixiu’s dissemination of Marxism are elucidated,and his dissemination of Marxist philosophy,Marxist political economy and scientific socialism are sorted out respectively.The third part discusses the channels through which Chen Qixiu spread Marxism,explores the ways in which he spread Marxism,and evaluates the effectiveness of his dissemination.In the fourth part,on the basis of a summary of his early contributions to the dissemination of Marxism,the important insights of Chen Qixiu’s dissemination of Marxism are elucidated.First,the historical contributions of Chen Qixiu to the spread of Marxism are discussed.His dissemination of Marxism raised the consciousness of the masses;it promoted the early process of Marxisation.Secondly,the implications of Chen Qixiu’s dissemination of Marxism for the new era are drawn.Marxist beliefs and socialist ideals should be established;and techniques and methods should be emphasized in spreading Marxism.In this way,Marxism will have a more powerful force of truth in the new era.
