Study On Xi Jinping’s Important Discourseon Socialist Modernizationand Power

In the report of the 20 th Party Congress,General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed that the central task of the CPC is to unite and lead the people of all ethnic groups to build a strong socialist modern state,achieve the second century goal,and promote the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Chinese modernization.Since the18 th Party Congress,Xi Jinping has put forward a series of important discussions on "what is a strong socialist modernization country and how to build a strong socialist modernization country".Xi Jinping’s important discourse on socialist modernization is a well-structured,richly connoted,dialectical and unified theoretical system proposed against the background of new opportunities and challenges at home and abroad as socialism with Chinese characteristics enters a new era,which provides fundamental guidelines for the development of Chinese modernization and action.This paper has an introduction and four other chapters,in which the four chapters correspond to the following four parts:Part I: Analyze the contemporary background and important foundation of Xi Jinping’s important discourse on socialist modernization and power.First,it analyzes the contemporary background of the emergence and formation of Xi Jinping’s important discourse on the strong socialist modernization from both domestic and foreign aspects.Second,the realistic basis of Xi Jinping’s important discourse on the strong socialist modernization is discussed in the light of the development process of the four historical periods of the Party regarding China’s modernization.Finally,the theoretical origins of Xi Jinping’s important discourse on socialist modernization and strengthening are elaborated.Part II: Analyze the main contents of Xi Jinping’s important discourse on socialist modernization and power.First,China should be built into a modern and powerful country with wealth,strength,democracy,civilization,harmony and beauty in the coming decades.Second,adhering to and strengthening the overall leadership of the Party,adhering to the Chinese-style modernization development path,implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for new era,adhering to and improving the socialist system with Chinese characteristics,and adhering to the fundamental stance of the people’s position are strong guarantees for building a strong socialist modern country.Again,the strategic plan for building a strong socialist modern country refers to the two-step strategy and the 14 th Five-Year Plan,as well as the visionary goal of 2035.Finally,Xi Jinping’s ideas on the construction of a strong socialist modernization country are discussed,which mainly refer to the following: economically,to achieve high-quality development;politically,to develop the whole process of people’s democracy;culturally,to promote cultural self-confidence and self-improvement;socially,to improve people’s quality of life;and ecologically,to promote the harmonious coexistence of human beings and nature.Part III: Methodology and main features of Xi Jinping’s important discourse on modernizing and strengthening the socialist state.The vast scientific system and meticulous logic of Xi Jinping’s important discourse on modernizing and strengthening the socialist state fully embody numerous scientific methodologies and main features.The methodologies embodied in Xi Jinping’s important discourse on modernizing and strengthening the socialist state include: dealing with the relationship between independence and learning from experience,dealing with the relationship between top-level design and the mass line,and dealing with the relationship between boldness and steady steps;the main features include: unity of party spirit and people’s spirit,unity of theory and practice,and unity of inheritance and expansion.Part IV: Significance of Xi Jinping’s Important Discourse on Socialist Modernization and Power.The study of Xi Jinping’s important discourse on socialist modernization and power is both a practical and a theoretical issue,with great theoretical and practical significance.As the largest developing country in the world,China has explored a modernization development path suitable for itself and has shown the world a new horizon of modernization development,which has positive world significance.
