| The Li is an ethnic group with a long history,simple folk customs and unique customs.As the earliest residents of Hainan Island,it has a unique history and culture with ethnic characteristics.These cultural essence and characteristics and customs need to be inherited and carried forward by future generations.Under the diversified social and cultural background,ethnic education should not only cultivate the minority students’ good identification attitude towards the Chinese culture,but also cultivate the profound cognition and positive identification of the ethnic culture.Ethnic identity is the prerequisite for the inheritance and development of ethnic culture,and the formation of identity is the result of the continuous exploration and development of individuals in the adolescent period,so the adolescent period is the critical period for the development of individual ethnic identity.Teenagers are the future of the motherland and the hope of the nation.The cultivation and education of ethnic cultural cognition and ethnic identity of Li teenagers in Hainan is of great significance to the harmonious and stable development of Li and the Chinese nation.This paper mainly discusses the influence of Li teenagers’ ethnic culture cognition on ethnic identity,and explores whether the ethnic implicit view and cultural confidence play an intermediary role between ethnic culture cognition and ethnic identity.In this study,1,561 valid questionnaires of Li teenagers were collected from eight schools in Hainan Province.The questionnaires were conducted by using the Ethnic Cultural Cognition Questionnaire,the Ethnic Implicit View Scale,the Cultural Confidence Questionnaire and the Ethnic Minority Ethnic Identity Questionnaire.The research results are as follows:(1)Li teenagers’ cognitive attitude towards ethnic culture is generally positive;Female students’ ethnic cultural cognition attitude is more positive and optimistic;Compared with other grades,the cognitive attitude of ethnic culture in senior three is the most positive.The cognitive attitude of ethnic culture of rural Li teenagers is more positive and the cognitive degree of ethnic culture is higher.The only child of Li ethnic group teenagers has a negative cognitive attitude towards ethnic culture.(2)The ethnic essence theory advocated by the Li ethnic group teenagers is stronger;Female students hold a stronger view that the ethnic implicit theory is biased to the ethnic essence theory;It is more obvious that the ethnic implicit theory of Li teenagers in senior one and senior two is biased towards the ethnic essence theory.Rural Li teenagers hold a stronger view of ethnic essence.(3)The level of ethnic cultural confidence of Li teenagers is high on the whole;In terms of grade,the cultural confidence of Li teenagers in grade three is the highest.(4)The overall level of ethnic identity of Li teenagers is higher,and the level of Chinese ethnic identity is higher than that of their own ethnic identity;Girls have higher level of ethnic identity;The level of ethnic identity in senior high school is higher than that in junior high school,and the level of ethnic identity in senior high school is the highest.The ethnic identity level of rural Li teenagers is low.(5)There is a significant correlation among Li teenagers’ ethnic cultural cognition,ethnic implicit view,cultural confidence and ethnic identity.(6)Ethnic implicit view and cultural confidence of Li teenagers play mediating roles between ethnic cultural cognition and ethnic identity respectively.(7)Ethnic implicit view and cultural confidence of Li teenagers play a chain mediating role between ethnic cultural cognition and ethnic identity.This study takes Hainan Li teenagers as the research object,and investigates for the first time the influence of Li teenagers’ ethnic implicit view and cultural confidence on ethnic cultural cognition and ethnic identity,so as to understand the current situation and development characteristics of their ethnic cultural cognition and ethnic identity.This paper discusses the importance of strengthening ethnic cultural cognition and cultural confidence to improve ethnic identity,so as to help us more deeply understand the relationship between ethnic cultural cognition,ethnic implicit view,cultural confidence and ethnic identity,and also provides some theoretical guidance for future research and practice of ethnic identity.Based on the above situation and influencing factors,this study puts forward some educational suggestions and countermeasures from the four levels of school,family,society and individual.By strengthening individuals’ cognition,understanding and confidence in their own ethnic culture,the individual’s sense of ethnic identity and Chinese national identity can be enhanced to form a strong ethnic identity.This paper tries to find suitable ways and methods for the inheritance and development of Li minority culture in Hainan,and provides scientific basis for effectively cultivating and improving the ethnic identity of Li minority teenagers. |
