This study evaluates the effectiveness of youth employment policies and programs in the Democratic Republic of Congo(DRC)and identifies areas for improvement.The DRC has a large and growing youth population,but high rates of youth unemployment and underemployment.The study assesses the impact of current policies and programs on youth employment outcomes,identifies key challenges and barriers to youth employment in the DRC,and examines the design and implementation of current policies and programs.The study draws on a range of qualitative and quantitative data sources,including surveys,focus group discussions,and interviews with key stakeholders.The findings provide recommendations for improving the effectiveness of youth employment policies and programs in the DRC,based on evidence and best practices from other countries and contexts.The study contributes to the global evidence base on effective youth employment interventions in low-income countries and informs policy and program design and implementation in the DRC.
