Research On Problems And Countermeasures Of Government Supervision Of Commercial Bank Service Charges In Chongqin

As a large part of the income source of commercial banks,service fee business has developed very rapidly in recent years.However,due to the strong profitability of the service charging business and the rapid development speed,the service charging business of commercial banks in my country also shows many hidden problems.Both the number of charging items and the standard have aroused the dissatisfaction of bank consumers.To a certain extent,it violates the rights and interests of banking consumers.In this context,the government,as an important means of administrative intervention to regulate market failures,is obliged to restrain and control the service charges of commercial banks,and to formulate corresponding laws and regulations to limit the unreasonable charges of commercial banks.Based on the status quo of commercial bank service charges in Chongqing,this paper studies its government supervision,in order to explore a practical,scientific and effective commercial bank service charge supervision model.First of all,this paper sorts out and refers to a large number of relevant documents on government supervision of commercial banks,and analyzes the current situation,problems and causes of service charges of commercial banks in Chongqing based on the theory of information asymmetry,imperfect competition market theory,and public interest theory.The reasons and the current state of regulation,including regulatory bodies,methods,principles,policies and regulations.Afterwards,it further analyzes the problems existing in government supervision of commercial bank service charges in Chongqing,including the ineffective and reasonable government supervision methods,insufficient disclosure of charging information,lack of protection system for vulnerable groups,and imperfect charging dispute resolution system,as well as problems The reasons for this include the unclear division of responsibilities of government supervision subjects,backward technical support related to government supervision,insufficient legal regulation system and insufficient transformation of government-related functions.Finally,it puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for the supervision of commercial bank service charges in Chongqing Municipal Government,including clarifying the division of responsibilities of various supervisory bodies,combining active dynamic supervision with passive legal norms,strictly implementing the commercial bank charging information disclosure system,and requiring commercial banks to establish weak Group security system,establish and improve relevant legal regulations as soon as possible,strengthen government supervision related technology and financial investment and other countermeasures and suggestions.This research can provide help for the implementation of government supervision work of commercial banks in Chongqing,and also provide reference and reference for the local government supervision work of commercial banks in the same industry.
