| After achieving a comprehensive victory in poverty alleviation in 2020,the focus of "issues concerning agriculture,rural areas,and farmers" work in our country has shifted to the comprehensive promotion of rural revitalization.The sustainable development of poverty-stricken areas is an important part of rural revitalization,with the sustainable development of the rural economy being of paramount importance to rural governance.Therefore,studying the sustainable economic development of poverty-stricken areas has practical significance.In order to explore the future development path of poverty-stricken areas and contribute to rural revitalization,taking Lincheng County,Hebei Province as an example,this study employs the theories of human capital and sustainable development as the basis.It utilizes literature research,questionnaire surveys,and interviews to investigate the economic development of Lincheng County.The study reveals several obstacles to the sustainable economic development of Lincheng County,including traditional rural agricultural models,idle land and rural houses,hindrance to tourism development due to poor rural living environment,serious aging population in rural areas,low educational and skill levels of rural permanent labor force,etc.The main reasons for these problems are the lack of modern agricultural concepts,farmers abandoning farming for employment,severe production and living pollution,rural youth labor outflow,and a temporary trend of dropping out of school for work.The study recommends the following strategies to promote the sustainable development of Lincheng County’s economy: promoting the scale development of agriculture,transforming idle rural houses to enrich rural industries,improving the living environment to boost rural tourism,attracting young labor force to return,and enhancing the quality of rural labor force.The research is innovative in that it takes a public management perspective and investigates the problems of sustainable economic development in Lincheng County at the micro-level,providing corresponding countermeasures.The research findings can provide new ideas for the sustainable development of Lincheng County’s economy and serve as a reference for other poverty-stricken areas to consolidate the achievements of poverty alleviation and achieve sustainable development. |
