Study On Zhao Shiyan’s Thought Of The Workers’ Movement

Zhao Shiyan is a famous leader of Chinese workers’ movement and a pioneer of Chinese communist movement.He directly led three armed uprisings of workers in Shanghai and made important contributions to the cause of the workers’ movement in China.In the beginning,workers were dissatisfied with the inhuman treatment they suffered,so organized to fight against capitalists in the form of strikes in order to obtain the most basic economic and political rights.With the founding of the Communist Party of China,the workers’ movement has a strong leadership core.By combining the principles of Marxism with the concrete reality of China,the Communist Party of China began to guide the workers to carry out the revolutionary movement and achieved fruitful results.In this process,a large number of leaders of the workers’ movement emerged.As one of them,Zhao Shiyan actively devoted himself to the revolutionary cause and pursued the transformation of society with Marxism,and Zhao shiyan gradually formed a more practical workers’ movement thoughts on the revolutionary road.Zhao Shiyan’s understanding of Chinese revolutionary road and Marxism has experienced a deepening process,and there are many reasons for the formation of his workers’ movement thought.His own character and the influence of his family promoted the germination of Zhao Shiyan’s revolutionary thought,and also determined his resolute revolutionary road of anti-imperialism and anti-feudalism.Marxism was introduced into China after the victory of the October Revolution,and proletarian revolutionaries began to guide the practical movement with the theory of class struggle.The early propaganda of Marxism by Li Dazhao and others improved Zhao Shiyan’s political consciousness.The outbreak of the May 4th Movement opened the prelude to China’s new democratic revolution and made some of the early awakened advanced people see the great strength of mass unity.As the main force of the Chinese revolution,the working class stepped onto the historical stage,and the display of the great strength of the working class also provided a practical basis for the formation of Zhao Shiyan’s workers’ movement thought.Zhao Shiyan advocated the work-study doctrine as a good way to transform Chinese society,and his experience of studying work-study program in France provided him with an opportunity to study Marxist theory and carry out revolutionary practice of the workers’ movement.With the continuous development of the revolutionary situation,Zhao Shiyan’s thought of workers’ movement gradually matured and formed a relatively complete theoretical system.Zhao Shiyan pointed out:(1)The Communist Party is the general staff leading the workers’ revolution;(2)We should use Marxism-Leninism to solve the practical problems of workers’ revolution;(3)Armed insurrection is the necessary form to win the workers’ revolution;(4)Paying attention to ideological propaganda is conducive to enhancing the ideological consciousness of the workers;(5)We must always adhere to safeguard the interests of the working masses and the lifelong struggle for the people’s political power.Zhao Shiyan’s thought of workers’ movement accumulated valuable experience of the Chinese workers’ movement,promoted the development of Chinese revolutionary cause and promoted the spread of Marxism in China.It enlightens us to always adhere to the leadership of the Party,strengthen our belief in Marxism and firmly believe in the strength of the masses.The combination of Marxist theory with the reality of the Chinese revolution is an important condition for the formation and maturity of Zhao Shiyan’s thought of workers’ movement.To a certain extent,the study of Zhao Shiyan’s thought of workers’ movement can provide a powerful reference for building socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new period.
