Research On Lenin’s Democratic Centralism Thought

In the course of promoting the socialist revolution,Lenin gradually formed a complete set of party building theories,among which the thought of democratic centralism is a classic theory with great research value.In the history of the world proletarian revolution,Lenin put forward the concept of democratic centralism,which was constantly developed and perfected in the concrete revolutionary practice of Russia,and became the basic organizing principle of the proletarian party.In the face of the major issues of the era,"What kind of long-term ruling Marxist party to build and how to build a long-term ruling Marxist party",the abstractions in Lenin’s thought of democratic centralism are conducive to deepening the understanding of the ruling law of the Communist Party and enhancing the guiding effectiveness of democratic centralism in promoting the new great project of our Party’s construction in the new era and new journey.This paper adheres to the guiding position of dialectical materialism and historical materialism,follows the logical axis of exploring the needs of The Times,reviewing classical ideals and mining value wisdom,and based on the existing research results,carries on a systematic theoretical analysis of the formation conditions and development course,basic connotation and main content,historical contribution and contemporary enlightenment of Lenin’s thought of democratic centralism.The full text consists of four chapters:Chapter 1 Introduction.It mainly explains the reason of the topic and the significance of the research,summarizes the status quo of the research at home and abroad,explains the research ideas,and introduces the main methods and innovations of the research.This part lays the foundation for the research of this topic.Chapter 2 The formation conditions and development process of Lenin’s thought of democratic centralism.Firstly,this paper expounds the historical background of the formation of Lenin’s thought of democratic centralism from four aspects: the new development of democratic politics in western countries,the specific social and historical situation of Russia,the practice of establishing a new proletarian party and the requirement of dealing with the change of Russian revolutionary situation.Secondly,it analyzes the theoretical source of Lenin’s thought of democratic centralism from four aspects: theoretical origin,ideological controversy,international practice and domestic struggle.Finally,the paper probes into the development process of Lenin’s thought of democratic centralism from three stages: the germination stage,the formation stage and the deepening stage.Through the study of this chapter,it is concluded that Lenin’s thought of democratic centralism is a theoretical response to the needs of The Times under the historical pattern,and gradually mature in the Russian revolution.Chapter 3 The basic connotation and main content of Lenin’s thought of democratic centralism.First,from the four fields of national democracy(system),intra-party democracy(system),the state structure of the form of concentration,the party organization principle of concentration,the emphasis on the democratic centralism of "democracy" and "concentration" of the basic connotation.On this basis,the dialectical unity relationship between the two is further demonstrated,and three problems need to be considered to grasp the relationship between the two.Second,it discusses the main contents of Lenin’s thought of democratic centralism from five aspects: resolutely obeying organizational discipline,strictly maintaining Party unity,paying attention to strengthening intra-party supervision,fully developing intra-party democracy,and persisting in implementing collective leadership.Thirdly,since the academic circle’s research on Lenin’s thought of democratic centralism is mostly concentrated on the level of political party organization,and less involved in the field of state structure and economic production management,this chapter also makes further elaboration on it.Chapter 4 The historical contribution and contemporary enlightenment of Lenin’s thought of democratic centralism.In the aspect of historical contribution,it emphatically summarizes the contents of three aspects,that is,enriching the treasure house of Marxist democratic centralism theory,promoting the further development of the international Communist movement,and providing a guide for the founding and development of the Communist Party of China.In the aspect of contemporary enlightenment,based on the above research content,it is extracted from the following four directions: first,promote intra-party democracy,safeguard the rights of party members;Second,standardize intra-party regulations and strengthen intra-party supervision;Third,oppose the wrong tendency and maintain the central authority;Fourth,strengthen the system construction,perfect the operation mechanism.This chapter is the main point of this topic research.The conclusion part focuses on the summary of the content and conclusion of the research on this topic,points out the shortcomings of the research and the direction to be improved,and puts forward the possible path of future research.
