With the progress of computer technology and the development of science and technology,human society has entered the "digital" and "intelligent" era.In this era,the value of personal information is being further mined,and the behaviors that infringe on personal information emerge endlessly.The protection of personal information has become an increasingly important topic,and the protection of citizens’ personal information is urgent.Because of various reasons,employees’ personal information is more vulnerable to infringement,it is necessary to reinforce employees’ personal information protection to protect it comprehensively.This paper is divided into five chapters.In the first chapter,theories related to employees’ personal information are summarized.Starting from the concept of "personal information",it clarifies the concept and characteristics of employees’ personal information.Because personal information and privacy are easily confused,this chapter makes comparison between employees’ personal information and privacy,so as to lay a foundation for discussing the difference between employees’ personal information protection and privacy protection.The reasons why the protection of employees’ personal information is important are that the particularity of the protection of employees’ personal information、the unique value and significance of the protection of employees’ personal information.Chapter Two examines the current situation of protection of employees’ personal informationin our country.This chapter summarizes the laws and regulations of employees’ personal information,analyzes its historical evolution and current regulations,analyzes the deficiencies of the current employees’ personal information protection situation from the perspectives of legislation and practice,and puts forward that the labor standard should not be missing.The third chapter summarizes the challenges faced by the protection of employees’ personal information,which not only comes from the inherent problems in labor relations,but also comes from the new problems under the background of the digital intelligence era.The improvement of the measures to protect employees’ personal information discussed in the following paper is analyzed from the perspective of "problem oriented".To reinforce the protection of employees’ personal information,we cannot "build a car behind closed doors",we should learn excellent experience from other areas.In the fourth chapter,introduce the protection system of employees’ personal information in the United States,the European Union and Chinese Taiwan region,and summarizes its excellent experience,which is devoted to find the enlightenment that oversea experience can bring to the protection of Chinese employees’ personal information.The fifth chapter puts forward the suggestions on the protection of employees’ personal information,and further strengthens the protection of employees’ personal information by improving employees’ personal information protection principle,improving legislation and improving relief channels.This paper aims to provide useful opinions and suggestions to protect Chinese employees’ personal information,so that employees’ personal information can be more comprehensively protected,dignity and freedom value can be further demonstrated,and “decent work” can be realized.
