| The question of happiness was an important theme in Marx’s theoretical research and an important theme in his critique of capital.Among the existing studies, scholars have presented in-depth interpretations of Marx’s idea of happiness, focusing on the theoretical origins of Marx’s concept of happiness and numerous research findings in areas such as theoretical connotation, formation process and present value. However, the results of these studies are not sufficiently structured and comprehensive, for example, the interpretation of the main characteristics is not complete enough. Moreover, society is in a period of great changes and there are always undesirable trends that disturb people’s values. Therefore,it is very important to study the Marxist concept of happiness theoretically and practically in order to understand the essence of the scientific concept of happiness and its main characteristics, analyse current aberrations and integrate the Marxist concept of happiness with relevant contemporary theories to create a scientific concept of happiness that is relevant today. The study is divided into four main chapters covering the introduction and the main body of content.First,it is important to clarify why the Marxist concept of happiness is still studied in the new era.The world is currently in the midst of a great change, the likes of which we have not seen for a century. In this context, several undesirable social trends, such as extreme egoism, historical nihilism and pan-entertainment,have been promoted, merged and mixed, having a great impact on our societies and people. In addition, today,in the modern era of developed online media, capital quietly controls the trend of online public opinion, and some people are deceived by the undesirable trends and have wrong opinions about happiness. Therefore,it is necessary to get to the root of the problem and direct people to a scientific view of happiness.Marx’s concept of happiness was not formed overnight,so it is necessary to first examine the historical reasons for its emergence.Marx’s concept of happiness is a scientific-theoretical system with rich connotations and features. In order to gain a deeper understanding of Marx’s concept of happiness,it is necessary to highlight its formative background, theoretical meaning, theoretical features and contemporary values. This chapter is divided into practical background, theoretical foundations and practical foundations.Marx gradually discovered the meaning of happiness during his unique upbringing and in the course of studying his earlier ideas;in the context of the reality of the time,he realized that capitalism was the main reason why people could not achieve happiness, and he then found the way to happiness-the overthrow of capitalist private property and the establishment of a proletarian society. In practice,he gradually explored the concrete path and eventually shaped Marx’s concept of happiness.Chapter 2 summarises the theoretical content of Marx’s conception of happiness.Although Marx did not write explicitly about the content of happiness,a study of his writings shows that the ultimate goal of his value is always the attainment of happiness for all human beings. In conclusion, the object of the Marxist conception of happiness is real people, the field of realization of the Marxist conception of happiness is the real world, the means of realization of the Marxist conception of happiness is the practice of labor, the condition for the realization of the Marxist conception of happiness is the great development of the forces of production, and the value of the Marxist conception of happiness is the free and comprehensive development of every human being.Chapter 3 analyzes the scope of Marx’s concept of happiness. Its ideological categories include: first, temporality and spatiality;second, spirituality and materiality;Third, individuality and sociality;Fourth, realism and development;Fifth, subjectivity and historicity. These five pairs of categories form a unified relational framework, which is the core characteristic of Marxism.Chapter 4 addresses the rich meaning and consistent value of Marx’s concept of happiness in a new era as embodied in innovative party theory. Therefore,it is necessary to explain the profound meaning of Marx’s thought of happiness in the context of the Party’s innovative theory in the new era.In the context of the good life, the human quest for the good life explains the purpose of Marx’s concept of happiness;in the context of the Chinese dream, the dream of a great rejuvenation of China describes the ideal project for the future society;in the context of Chinese modernization,Chinese modernization provides the way to build a strong modern socialist state. |
