Research On Accessibility Services For Physically Disabled Users In Public Libraries In The Context Of Artificial Intelligence

In recent years,with the prosperous development of libraries,public libraries are paying more and more attention to the accessibility of services for people with disabilities.As a public service institution in the government public service system,public libraries should be open to all people,especially people with disabilities,based on the principle of "fairness and equality".Due to their physical characteristics,people with disabilities cannot access information resources as easily and quickly as normal people.Therefore,public libraries should provide special accessibility services for these people so that they can meet their information needs and enjoy the basic services of public libraries equally.This paper mainly focuses on readers with physical disabilities and takes them as the research object,and discusses the concepts and theoretical foundations of accessibility services for physically disabled users in public libraries under the background of artificial intelligence,including: accessibility,physically disabled users and artificial intelligence;the theoretical foundations include Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory,customer needs theory and modern service marketing theory.We use the in-depth interview method to interview the users with physical disabilities and obtain the interview data to understand the accessibility service demand of users with physical disabilities in public libraries in the context of artificial intelligence;then we understand the supply status of accessibility service for users with physical disabilities in provincial public libraries by means of online survey and telephone interview;on this basis,we use the rooting theory to codify the original data of the interviews at three levels and construct the accessibility service for users with physical disabilities according to the coding Based on the results,the accessibility service demand model for users with physical disabilities was constructed.Based on the research on the accessibility service demand of physically disabled users and the analysis of the current situation of accessibility service supply for physically disabled users in provincial public libraries,this study aims to explore how to build a better accessibility service system for physically disabled users in public libraries with the help of artificial intelligence technology.At the same time,the corresponding improvement countermeasures are proposed for the accessibility service system of physically disabled users in public libraries under the background of artificial intelligence,which are: improving the construction of intelligent accessibility laws;improving the management system of intelligent accessibility services;strengthening the concept of intelligent accessibility services;innovating the means of intelligent accessibility services;and innovating the technology of intelligent accessibility information services.In order to provide some reference and reference for the public library business in China.
