Research On Legal Aid For Rural Vulnerable Groups

Legal aid is a system established by the state to provide legal advice,agency,criminal defense and other legal services free of charge for citizens with financial difficulties and other parties who meet the legal conditions.It is an integral part of the public legal service system.China’s legal aid system has gone through more than 20 years of development since its development in 1994,and the cause of legal aid has made considerable progress.The development of rural legal aid in China has made further progress through the implementation of the strategic goal of rural revitalization and the construction of a new socialist countryside.At the same time,the process of rural legal aid construction has been raised to an unprecedented level.In recent years,legal aid workstations have been set up in some parts of the country.The division of labor,cooperation and mutual cooperation between the legal aid workstation and the judicial offices at the grass-roots level have brought the rural legal aid work to a new level,and have also achieved good results.However,we still need to remain sober about the current situation of rural legal aid.The construction of rural legal aid in China is still at the primary stage,and the rural legal aid work cannot fully meet the needs of rural groups with huge needs.Especially for the vulnerable groups in rural areas,our legal aid work needs to be constantly improved and strengthened.The realization of the great goal of building a new socialist countryside needs the support of the legal aid system.At the same time,the construction of the legal aid system is also of great significance to the stability of our rural society.The main body of this article consists of four parts.The first part of the paper introduces the general theory of legal aid for rural vulnerable groups,mainly proposing one’s own opinions on how to reasonably define rural vulnerable groups,and clarifying the necessity of studying legal aid for rural vulnerable groups.The second part objectively analyzes the current situation of legal aid for rural vulnerable groups in China from multiple dimensions.The third part mainly analyzes the problems of legal aid for rural vulnerable groups in China at present,and analyzes the reasons for the problems.The fourth part proposes corresponding suggestions and countermeasures for the issues raised in the third part,based on the practical experience and theoretical research of legal aid at home and abroad,as well as one’s own scientific research achievements.
