In the context of rural revitalization, the rise and development of ethnic tourism has played a huge role in promoting the economic development of ethnic minority areas in China, and the study of human-land relationship in ethnic tourism destinations has gradually attracted the attention of researchers. In the previous studies on the influencing factors of tourism destination’s sense of place, the static predisposing factors such as demographic characteristics, social environment and physical environment have been widely studied and discussed by scholars. The positive factors of people are rarely involved in the current study of the factors of sense of place. In tourism activities in ethnic areas, whether the tourism participation of community residents has an impact on the sense of place, and whether the strength of the sense of place can affect the willingness and degree of community participation of residents, these issues have not been verified by the academic community. This study takes Huangdu Dong Cultural Village as a case study, uses qualitative interview method to conduct in-depth observation and understanding of the current situation of community participation in Huangdu Dong Cultural Village, and uses questionnaire survey method to explore the impact of community participation on the sense of place of residents in ethnic tourism areas through quantitative analysis. This paper summarizes the three main contents of community participation and the two dimensions of sense of place by consulting domestic and foreign research literature, and establishes a theoretical model.Referring to the current mature survey scale and combining the actual situation of the case, this paper designs a questionnaire. The researchers distributed 210 questionnaires in the case of Huangdu Dong Culture Village, and recovered 189 valid questionnaires.Through the professional analysis software SPSS22.0 and Smart PLS3.0,the sample data and model assumptions are analyzed and tested, and the final conclusion is as follows: the economic participation of residents in Huangdu Dong Cultural Village has a significant positive impact on place dependence and place identity of residents;Political participation has a significant positive impact on residents’ place dependence and place identity;Participation in culture and environmental protection has no significant impact on residents’ place dependence, while participation in culture and environmental protection has a significant impact on residents’ place identity; The sense of place significantly affects residents’ community participation. Finally, based on this conclusion, this paper puts forward a series of management suggestions for Huangdu Dong Culture Village. |
