Research On The Construction Of An International Discourse Of The Chinese Path To Modernization

International discourse on the Chinese path to modernization is a collection of discourses explaining China’s modernisation practice and its road model to the international community.Along with the historic development and breakthrough achievements of China’s modernisation,the development of International discourse on the Chinese path to modernization has lagged behind.At the same time,the Western modernisation discourse has attempted to monopolise the world’s modernisation discourse by promoting "Western-centrism".It is only by breaking the Western modernisation discourse and building our own international discourse that we can gain the initiative in modernisation development.To promote the construction of an international discourse on the Chinese path to modernization,and then to promote the international community’s recognition of the Chinese modernization path,is an important frontier issue and mission for the discipline of Marxist theory in the new era.This paper takes the Chinese path to modernization as the research object and the construction of the international discourse of the Chinese path to modernization as the research landing point.It is based on Marxist theory and international communication,draws inspiration from the excellent Chinese traditional culture and Western theories of discourse,summarizes the experience of the international discourse of Chinese Marxism,takes Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as the fundamental guidance,and follows the logic of "the practice of Chinese path to modernization" and "the practice of discourse of Chinese path to modernization ".The aim of the study is to solve the problem of "otherness" of the Chinese modernization and to gain the international community’s trust in the Chinese path to modernization.The aim is to solve the problem of "other beliefs" of the Chinese modernization,to gain international recognition of the Chinese modernization,to fight for international space for the future development of the Chinese modernization,to consolidate the legitimacy of the Chinese path to modernization,and to contribute "Chinese solutions" and "Chinese wisdom" to the problems of world modernization and human development.Ultimately,the content and methodological approach to the construction of an international discourse on Chinese path to modernization will be developed.The Chinese Communist Party has solved the problems of "being beaten" and"starving" in its century-long struggle to lead the Chinese people to explore the road to modernization,but it has not yet completely solved the problem of "being scolded".However,the problem of "being scolded" has not yet been completely solved.Since the18 th Party Congress,the Party Central Committee,with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core,has focused on the goal of becoming a strong socialist modern state and has raised the international discourse on the construction of a Chinese path to modernization to an unprecedented level.In order to thoroughly solve the problem of "being scolded",to better respond to the expectations and concerns of the international community about the Chinese path to modernization,to create an objective,true and comprehensive image of China in the international community,and to present a three-dimensional and multi-faceted"self-branding" to the international community with a more truthful,comprehensive and objective discourse "It is imperative to build an international discourse on the Chinese path to modernization in order to better highlight the unique advantages and distinctive features of the Chinese modernization in the development of modernization in the world.
