Research On The Integration Of The Great Northern Wilderness Spirit Into The Ideological And Political Education Of College Students

The Great Northern Wilderness Spirit was born from the great practice of developing and building black soil.The spirit of the Great Northern Wilderness,which embodies the values of “self-reliance,hard work,pioneering spirit,and dedication,” is a valuable spiritual legacy bequeathed to us by the elder generation of reclamation people,and an important spiritual support for exploring the road of Chinese-style agricultural modernization.As a kind of spirit of the times that is everlasting and advancing with the times,the spirit of the Great Northern Wilderness contains a new great power,and its scientific connotations,historical significance and exceptional importance as a crucial resource for education aligns strongly with the content of ideological and political education for university students.Incorporating the spirit of the Great Northern Wilderness into the teaching practices of ideological and political education for university students is a proactive measure towards the fundamental task of“cultivating individuals with morality” in the ideological and political work of colleges and universities in the new period.Taking the spirit of the Great Northern Wilderness as the starting point,this paper discusses the important role it can play in the ideological and political education of university students in three parts.The first part,on the basis of combing the existing authoritative research results,sorts out and defines the relevant concepts of the spirit of the Great Northern Wilderness and the ideological and political education of university students,including expounding the formation process,scientific connotation and epochal value of the spirit of the Great Northern Wilderness,as well as the meaning,function and tasks of ideological and political education for university students.Through the excavation and research of these basic theories,the internal relationship between the two is further analyzed.In the second part,a questionnaire was released to understand the application status of the "Great Northern Wilderness Spirit" in the ideological and political education of university students,and through the collection and collation of data,the shortcomings of the spiritual education of the Great Northern Wilderness in colleges and universities were recognized,and then the causes were analyzed.The third part integrates the three forces of college education,social resources,and self-education,and explores some ways to apply the "spirit of the Great Northern Wilderness" to the ideological and political education of university students.
