An Empirical Study On The Evaluation Of Public Fund-raising Platform’s Fund-raising Capacity From The Perspective Of Absorbing Capacity

At the beginning of the 21 st century,the new business form of "Internet plus" committed to digital construction has brought unprecedented opportunities for the transformation and upgrading of various industries.Public welfare crowdfunding and the public welfare fundraising platform derived from it,as a new fundraising model,provide a more convenient and effective fundraising method for public welfare organizations,charities,and project activities in China,promoting the vigorous development and steady progress of the public welfare industry in China to a certain extent.However,while enjoying the development dividend of the platform in the "Internet plus" era,the development of the public welfare fundraising industry is hindered to some extent due to the short start time of the industry,the imperfect corresponding regulatory mechanism,the low access threshold,the asymmetric information between donors and recipients,and other issues.Against the background described above,the Tencent public welfare fundraising platform was selected as the main research object of the paper,with three types of existing public welfare projects under the platform’s charity projects being raised,implemented,and completed as the overall data sample for the study,with knowledge absorption capacity as the theoretical basis,and based on the long-term sustainable development of philanthropy in China as the goal.Based on sorting out the current research situation of domestic and foreign scholars on public welfare fundraising platforms,this paper sorts out and summarizes relevant literature,and summarizes the practical significance of the emergence stage for platform theoretical research.Through in-depth interpretation of a series of framework terms such as public welfare,public welfare fundraising,and public welfare fundraising platforms,and in combination with the scope and field studied in this paper,an indicator system for the operational quality of innovative platform projects is constructed.Finally,through empirical research on the operational quality of platform projects,we analyze the six major factors that affect the operational quality of platform projects at the current stage: the field of the project,the details of the project content,whether to publicize the project budget,the details of the project progress,the target amount of fundraising,and the number of project donors.Based on the above findings,this paper puts forward corresponding management enlightenment for the stakeholders of "Internet plus" charity.
