The Poverty Reduction Effect Of Industrial Change In Relocated Farmers For Poverty Alleviation

Poverty alleviation relocation is an important part of the implementation of the "five measures" project,and is the core measure to win the combat against poverty.It has become an important way to improve living conditions and entrepreneurial innovation of the poor.At present,it is encountering a new stage from relocation to industrial development and economic growth.However,the implementation effect of regional follow-up industry development needs discussing,and the persistence of poverty reduction caused by industrial change needs to be further verified.As an effective method of poverty alleviation,industrial poverty reduction needs to be deeply analyzed.Some industries in the relocation area are from scratch,with foundation of economic development and industrial stability inferior to the traditional areas.Thus,the effectiveness and quality of poverty eradication depends on the employment improvement of the relocation object,which is closely related to the industrial development of the relocation area.This paper analyzes the change of relocation industry and the research of industrial poverty alleviation,wishing to help achieve the purpose of sustainable poverty alleviation,realize the strategic connection between accurate poverty alleviation and common prosperity,and promote industrial development and economic growth.This paper uses this as a basis for an in-depth analysis of industrial poverty reduction and examines the following questions: how to evaluate the poverty reduction effect of industry in relocation? Is there a poverty reduction effect in the relocation of industries? How to express the poverty reduction mechanism of industry?And how to measure the poverty reduction effect of industry change? Answering these questions is significant to the industrial development of Jing’an New District and even to the relocation of the whole country.From the perspective of industrial poverty reduction,taking the current situation of relocation as the research background,through questionnaire investigation,based on the relevant panel data of relocation in Jing’an New District of Yunnan Province in 2019,the degree of poverty reduction is measured by international multi-dimensional poverty index and anti-poverty coefficient,and the poverty reduction effect of industrial change caused by relocation is analyzed by using double difference model,and its robustness is verified by fixed effect model.The results show that:(1)Industry has obvious poverty reduction effect in relocation,changing the wage income and land rent of relocated households through the income perspective,as well as the trickle-down effect of the growth perspective and secondary distribution to the poor;(2)the change of traditional industries has obvious poverty reduction effect,but the poverty reduction effect of different industries is obviously different,and the poverty reduction effect from primary industry to tertiary industry is more obvious.There are still some problems in the follow-up development,including the lack of financial support,the weak long-term development of the industry and the low overall quality of the labor force.Under the background of relocation and rural revitalization,relocation areas should be combined with the actual situation of settlement and relocation households,through effective industrial development measures to enhance the effect of poverty reduction,to increase the income level of relocated residents and economy in relocation areas.
