| In the late 20 th century,population aging has become a worldwide problem.The aging population has ushered in new development opportunities for the society,but it also brings new challenges to the economy,culture,health care,education and other aspects of the society.The World Health Organization(WHO)points out that education for the aged is not only one of the effective and necessary ways to help the elderly participate in social activities and enjoy life in a meaningful way.For the elderly,education for the elderly can effectively promote their cognition,maintain their mental health,and improve their adaptability to life.Based on the analysis of domestic and foreign literature,this thesis takes 400 elderly students over 60 years old in Hebei University for the Elderly as the research object,uses the methods of survey and interview to investigate and analyze the current situation of the elderly education in Hebei Province,establishes a structural equation model to explore the relationship between the elderly’s lifelong education satisfaction,empowerment and the quality of life of the elderly,and reveals the internal influence mechanism between the three.The research found that the elderly’s satisfaction with lifelong education has a positive impact on empowerment and quality of life;Lifelong education satisfaction plays an intermediary role through empowerment,which helps to improve the quality of life of the elderly.According to the research results of this thesis,learn from the advanced experience of western developed countries in meeting the needs and policy supply of elderly education,and based on the current demand level education policy expectations of China’s elderly learning and elderly education services,propose relevant countermeasures and suggestions for the reform of elderly education,and promote the integration of elderly education into the public service system. |
