The rapid rise of emerging industries represented by Internet technology has made the platform economy gradually occupy an important position in various fields of people’s daily life.However,the particularity of the Internet platform makes the platform operation naturally different from the traditional industry business model.Therefore,the determination of the market dominance of Internet platforms has become more complicated,and many problems have been raised in judicial practice.In recent years,my country has also made many new attempts in the identification of Internet platform market dominance,but there are still some problems that need to be solved.On the basis of sorting out the relevant concepts of Internet platform market dominance,this thesis studies the definition of Internet platform related markets and the identification of dominance,and attempts to explore a path to improve the identification of Internet platform market dominance.The thesis is divided into three parts: introduction,main body and conclusion.The main body is divided into the following four chapters:The first chapter makes a general interpretation of the content related to the market dominance of Internet platforms.The first section mainly summarizes the relevant concepts and characteristics of Internet platforms.The second section analyzes the relevant market of Internet platforms and the concept and identification significance of the dominant position.The third section briefly describes the current normative system for the identification of the market dominance of Internet platforms at home and abroad.The second chapter summarizes the predicament of Internet platform related market definition based on the analysis of traditional related market definition methods and empirical research.The first section analyzes the traditional methods of defining the Internet platform-related market,the second section studies typical cases of Internet platform-related market definition,and the third section summarizes the difficulties faced by Internet platforms in applying the traditional related market definition methods.The third chapter summarizes the challenges of the Internet platform to the determination of market dominance based on the traditional theory and empirical analysis of market dominance determination.The first section analyzes the traditional theories on the determination of market dominance from the criteria and elements of the determination of dominance.The second section studies the determination of market dominance of Internet platforms in typical cases challenge.The fourth chapter puts forward suggestions for improving the identification of Internet platform market dominance.The first section establishes the anti-monopoly norms for the market dominance of Internet platforms.The second section improves the definition method of my country’s traditional Internet platform related markets and introduces new methods from the relevant market definition.The calculation method of traditional market share is adjusted,and specific measures such as optimizing the evaluation of market barriers are proposed.
