A Study On Application Of The Djibouti Code Of Conduct With A Focus Of Anti-piracy In The Horn Of Africa

This detailed legal study of the Djibouti Code of Conduct relates to the piracy and armed robbery in the West Indies and the repression of the Gulf of Aden,signed on January 29,2009.Helps member states cooperate in efforts to suppress acts in the region.This research explores the code with emphasis on the concept of primary articles in the fields of initiating law enforcement officers,information sharing mechanism and domestic laws related to theft.In the process of realizing these objectives an assessment of existing cooperative mechanisms in the region has been added to identify potential partners who can provide synergy and reduce duplication.After analyzing the Code concept through a literary review of similar practices and plagiarism cases prosecuted in the region,the review article concludes that the code is sufficient for intent and text storage for political purposes,which should be stimulated and maintained through rigorous campaigns.The IMO 2011 theme "Theft: Response Planning" [1] is to be effected to raise awareness of the negative effects of pirates on ships and sailors subjected to these acts.
