Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Social Work Intervening Adolescent Suicide

Adolescents are the hope of a family and the future of a nation.The healthy growth of adolescents is an important part of a country’s economic and social development and civilization progress.Therefore,it has become the consensus of the whole society to create a safe and good environment for young people to grow up to the greatest extent,and to protect the smooth growth and development of young people.However,the suicide rate of adolescents remains high,and the problem of adolescent suicide has become one of the unavoidable social problems.Psychiatry believes that suicide is caused by the disorder of personal state,and sociologist Durkheim believes that suicide is caused by the disorder of the relationship between people and society.Suicides in modern society are mostly self-interested suicides,the essence of which is the excessive separation of individuals from society and the lack of effective social support,especially among adolescents.Social work can use its professional expertise to build a social support system for suicidal adolescents,help them rebuild social relationships,and play an active role in the intervention of adolescent suicide.Of course,in this process,social workers also need to rely on the joint efforts of all relevant parties.At present,the domestic research on the intervention of adolescent suicide from the perspective of social work is in its infancy,and there are fewer discussions based on facts.Using specific research methods such as interviews and field research,this paper analyzes the youth suicide cases intervened by G social work institutions in S City,and expounds the relevant reasons for youth suicide in the cases.Workers were interviewed to use role theory to analyze the role expectations and role practices of institutional social workers in the face of suicide cases.Insufficient work cooperation among various subjects,insufficient social workers ability,exclusion of service objects and other difficulties,and explore the institutional,service,and conceptual reasons behind these difficulties,and on this basis,combine other countries’ opinions on juvenile suicide.It proposes the intervention measures in my country in the face of adolescent suicide,and explores the localization of professional social work in adolescent suicide intervention.The article is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction.The research related literature review were introduced as a whole,and the severe status quo of adolescent suicide was described.The research context of adolescent suicide at home and abroad and the practice of professional social work intervention in adolescent suicide were expounded.The current status of adolescent suicide and the importance of social work intervention.The second part is the severity and characteristics of adolescent suicide,emphasizing the need for social workers to intervene in adolescent suicide.The third part is to describe the general situation of G social work institutions,as well as the role practice status and coping process of social workers in G institutions in the intervention services for youth suicide.The fourth part is the problem and reason analysis.On the basis of expounding the predicament of social work’s intervention in adolescent suicide,the reason for social work’s intervention in the predicament is discussed.The fifth part is the coping strategies for adolescent suicide.Suicidal behavior occurs in adolescents due to excessive social isolation.Social workers face various difficulties in providing social support for suicidal adolescents in relevant roles.On the basis of in-depth analysis of the reasons,and integrating relevant research and experience at home and abroad,it is proposed to improve the protection mechanism for young people from the perspective of the government,improve professional ability from the perspective of social workers,and carry out life education activities for young people.The combination of the three,to build a social support network for suicidal adolescents to solve the dilemma of social workers’ intervention in adolescent suicide.
