In"Capital" written by Marx, financial theory has an important position.Although Marx has not yet proposed the concept of financial capital in "Capital",its related financial theory provides a theoretical basis for the generation of financial capital theory. The emergence of the category of finance in "Capital" is an inevitable result of the capitalist system and economic development.Marx’s exposition of monetary and financial theory, credit theory,interest-bearing capital theory, and capital virtualization theory is the main content of financial theory in"Capital".The theoretical sources of these expositions are mainly the monetary value theory of Adam Smith and David Ricardo,as well as the monetary and financial theory of the British Banking School. After the emergence of the financial theory in Marx’s "Capital",Hefating proposed the concept of financial capital based on Marx’s financial theory, according to the characteristics and content of his era,and conducted research on financial capital, forming a systematic theory of financial capital.Lenin deepened the study of financial capital on the basis of Marx and Hefating, perfected the shortcomings of Hefating’s financial capital theory, resulting in Lenin’s financial capital theory, and promoted the maturity of Marxist financial capital theory. On the one hand, the development of financial capital has promoted the development of capitalism, and on the other hand,it has led to cyclical financial crises in capitalism. After trying many countermeasures,Western countries have been unable to change the inevitability of the outbreak of financial crises.Western economics has also fallen into a cyclical argument in the face of financial crises and dare not admit the inevitability of the crisis. However, the crisis theory in the Marxist financial capital theory directly points to capitalist production, fundamentally revealing that the fundamental cause of the outbreak of the financial crisis lies in the contradiction between capitalist overproduction and relatively insufficient consumption, and proving that the capitalist financial crisis is a reflection of the economic crisis. The Marxist financial capital theory is the scientific basis for analyzing the financial crisis in the United States.Understanding the financial crisis in the United States through Marxist financial capital theory also has significant implications for strengthening China’s financial supervision. The Marxist theory of financial capital is also of great value in the contemporary era as a scientific theoretical tool for analyzing the latest changes in contemporary capitalism, the emergence of financial imperialism has a profound theoretical and historical logic, according to Marxism,Luxembourg and other people on the theory of reproduction, can be derived from the inevitable development of capitalism to the inevitable law of financial imperialism. The most typical feature of financial imperialism in the contemporary era is to rely on debt leverage to accelerate the financialization of the world, thus exploiting workers all over the world. To understand financial imperialism objectively through the theory of Marxist financial capital,on the one hand,is conducive to our understanding of the objective laws of capitalist economic development,on the other hand,it can also bring enlightenment to our economic construction,it is beneficial to clarify the relationship between finance and real economy, play the role of finance in real economy, and promote the development of financial service real economy. Finally,a correct understanding of the pros and cons of finance will enable better use of finance to improve the market economy system, promote rural revitalization by promoting financial Sunac and making finance more inclusive,to create material foundation and economic conditions for the realization of common prosperity.
