Research On Deng Xiaoping’s Thought Of "Two Overall Situations" And Its Contemporary Value

China’s coastal areas are relatively developed,while the inland areas,especially the western regions,are relatively backward in economy and culture.In the process of socialist modernization,it is impossible for the coastal areas and the inland areas to achieve average development,which determines that it will take a relatively long historical period for the eastern and western regions to gradually narrow the gap between regions from unbalanced too relatively balanced.How to narrow the regional differences and achieve the coordinated and healthy development of regional economy has always been the goal of the CPC.In 1998,after scientifically summarizing the experiences and lessons of economic and social development after the founding of New China,Deng Xiaoping put forward the idea of "two overall situations" in combination with domestic and international situations.This paper uses the method of literature research,combining theory with practice and summary,under the guidance of Marxist theory,and analyzes the thought of Deng Xiaoping in "two overall situations" from three aspects.First of all,the formation of Deng Xiaoping’s "two overall situations" thought was traced and combed from the theoretical origin,historical background and formation process.Deng xiaoping "two big picture" thought based on the beginning of reform and opening up the domestic situation and the international situation in the 2980s,with marxist classic writers and Mao zedong have put forward the theory of productivity layout,urban economic center and regional economic balanced development theory as a guide,deng xiaoping in the criticism of "egalitarianism" promote the development of coastal areas lead,and formally put forward the "two big picture" strategic concept.Secondly,the basic connotation of Deng Xiaoping’s "two overall situations" thought is analyzed and summarized.Deng Xiaoping’s thought of "two overall situations" takes the part to the whole as the development step,the coordinated development as the basic requirement,and the common prosperity as the ultimate goal,and the market and the government should jointly regulate the economy.Finally,it makes a systematic inductive study on the contemporary value of Deng Xiaoping’s "two overall situations" thought from the perspective of theory and practice.From the perspective of theoretical value,Deng Xiaoping’s "two overall situations" thought developed the theory of balanced development of regional economy,laid the foundation of Chinese modernization theory and changed the concept of our regional planning;From the perspective of practical value,Deng Xiaoping’s "two overall situations" thought indicated the path to achieve common prosperity in the new era,enhanced the development power of building socialism with Chinese characteristics,and guided the deployment of our regional economic development strategy.Deng Xiaoping’s "two overall situations" thought was formed in the process of Sinicization of Marxism,and has been proven by practice as a scientific and correct idea,and in the future regional development strategy,we can see the scientific spirit and practical quality embodied in this thinking.On the basis of fully taking into account the new situation,new situation and new challenges of China’s current regional economy,this paper rationally analyzes the achievements and problems of China’s regional development at the current stage through systematic research on Deng Xiaoping’s thinking on "two overall situations",and is committed to seeking ways to solve problems,in order to have practical guiding significance for the coordinated economic development of various regions in China and the realization of common prosperity.
