Research On Marx’s View Of Wealth And Its Contemporary Value

Marx’s concept of wealth is an important part of the Marxist theoretical system.Over the past 40 years of reform and opening up,China’s economic construction has made many world-renowned achievements,and people’s material and spiritual wealth has been greatly developed.However,while developing the economy,we are also faced with many wealth problems,such as polarisation due to the uneven distribution of wealth;the distorted view of wealth among individuals,which leads to the supremacy of money;or the pursuit of wealth growth at the price of damaging the environment.Therefore,studying Marx’s view of wealth is of great practical significance in guiding people to establish a "people-oriented" scientific view of wealth,improving a fair and just distribution system,and advocating green development,building a beautiful China and achieving common prosperity.This paper focuses on the following aspects:Part I: Introduction.It mainly discusses the significance of writing this thesis,studies the current situation of the research on Marx’s view of wealth in domestic and foreign scholar circles,and outlines the writing method,the basic content of the research and the innovation points of this paper.Part II: Explains the history of the emergence and development of Marx’s view of wealth,put forward that Marx absorbed the essence of the wealth ideas from classical Western political economy,classical German philosophy and ideal socialism,and Marx put forward his view of wealth on the basis of the social practices of his time.Marx’s view of wealth eventually formed through four stages.Part III: Discusses the main elements of Marx’s view of wealth in four perspectives.Firstly,in terms of the essence of wealth,the thesis proposes that for Marx,wealth is a thing of use value produced by man through labour to satisfy his own needs and achieve his own development.It reflects the attributes of human behind the thing.Secondly,Marx regarded both labour and nature as the source of wealth,and science and technology as both the product and producer of wealth;again,the main expression of wealth in the three historical forms of human society has undergone a historical transmutation from use value to money,to the developed productivity of individuals.Finally,on the issue of wealth distribution,Marx believed that to break the unreasonable distribution of wealth under private ownership,it required a change in the system of productivity material ownership,and that only by realizing the communism could the distribution of wealth be truly fair and just.Part IV: The contemporary value of Marx’s concept of wealth.In the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,the theoretical value of Marx’s view of wealth is that it can provide a theoretical basis for the establishment of a "humanistic view of wealth" in socialism,provide ideological guidance for the improvement of a fair and just wealth distribution system,and provide value guidelines for the construction and improvement of a socialist wealth ethic.In terms of practical value,Marx’s concept of wealth can encourage people to respect labour and create wealth through practical work,guide enterprises to attach importance to science and technology and promote wealth creation,guide political parties to handle wealth correctly and gradually achieve common wealth,and guide society as a whole to establish a green concept of wealth and build a beautiful China.This thesis takes the interpretation of Marx’s concept of wealth of previous scholars at home and abroad as a reference,and bases on Marx’s classic works,composes the core content of Marx’s concept of wealth,and uses it as a guide to seek the direction and ways to solve the current social "wealth dilemma".In the new socialist era,no one can refuse wealth,but we should learn to pursue it,create it and accumulate it in a correct and reasonable way,We should feel the hardships in the process of creating wealth deeply,and truly realise selfdevelopment in the progress of creating wealth,and be the master of wealth.
