Brzezinski’s Asia Pacific Geostrategic Thought And Its Influence On China

This paper takes the influence of Brzezinski’s Asia-Pacific geostrategic thoughts on China as the topic,mainly studies the specific content of Brzezinski’s Asia-Pacific geostrategic thoughts and summarizes them,analyzes Brzezinski’s geostrategic thoughts in the Continuing influence in U.S.foreign policy making,and then explore the impact of U.S.foreign policy on China.Brzezinski’s Asia-Pacific geostrategic thought is a typical Cold War thought.Today,successive U.S.governments’ containment policies towards China also follow the Cold War mentality to suppress China in an all-round way.Focusing on the foreign policies of China’s neighboring countries such as Russia,South Korea,Japan,and Indonesia,this paper analyzes the impact of their Asia-Pacific geostrategic thoughts on China’s politics,economy,military,diplomatic security and other aspects.Brzezinski analyzed the relationship between various countries in the entire Eurasian continent in the book "The Big Chess Board",considering the entire Eurasian continent as a chessboard and from the ten Eurasian continents with great geostrategic value.The country is selected as a strategic player country and a political pivot country,and forecasts and analyzes the future development prospects of the United States,and formulates a comprehensive and complete Eurasian geostrategy for the United States.The book proposes that the United States is the first and last real global power,and Brinell proposed a set of global strategies for the United States to maintain its world hegemony.This article mainly analyzes the content and characteristics of Brzezinski’s geostrategic thought,and intercepts Brzezinski’s Asia-Pacific geostrategic thoughts,analyzes and summarizes the influence of the main strategic thoughts on the leaders of previous American governments,and then explores the impact of their thoughts on China,and finally analyzes China’s geopolitical environment and proposes some countermeasures.
