Research On Mao Zedong’s View Of Peasants In The Period Of New Democratic Revolution

Leading the people in revolution and construction in an economically and culturally backward country,the major problem that the Marxist political parties must face and solve is how to correctly deal with the relationship with the peasants.Specifically to China,one of the preconditions for the solution of this problem is to have a basic understanding of the relationship between farmers and China’s national democratic revolution.Period of the new-democratic revolution,Mao Zedong put the marxism theory of peasant problem and the conditions of the society at that time in China and combining the situation of democratic revolution,deepen the understanding and study peasant problem,formed Mao Zedong’s view of peasants during the new democratic revolution,this is one of Mao Zedong’s contribution to the marxism the most creative.This paper mainly studies Mao Zedong’s view of peasants in the period of new democratic revolution from three aspects.The first part of the paper analyzes the formation conditions and historical process of Mao Zedong’s view of farmers during the new democratic revolution.Paper points out that the marxist classical writer’s theory of farmers,gene of Chinese traditional culture,modern China’s revolutionary peasant theory and the modern China’s national conditions,Mao Zedong roots rural investigation and study,lead the peasant movement,this is the theoretical origin,objective conditions and subjective factors of the formation of Mao Zedong’s peasant view in the period of new democratic revolution.In terms of its development process,Mao Zedong’s concept of peasants in the period of the new democratic revolution experienced three stages of development,namely,the embryonic stage of the great revolution,the formation stage of the agrarian revolutionary war,and the mature stage of the war of resistance against Japan and the war of liberation.The second part of the paper discusses the main contents of Mao Zedong’s view of farmers in the period of new democratic revolution from four aspects: the understanding of farmers’ noumenon,the analysis of farmers’ motivation,the protection of farmers’ interests and the development of farmers’ education.The third part of the paper explores the historical value and contemporary enlightenment of Mao Zedong’s view of farmers in the period of new democratic revolution.From enriched and developed the marxist theory of farmers and promote China’s new-democratic revolution victory two aspects elaborated the historical value of Mao Zedong’s peasant view during the new democratic revolution,from the attention to investigation and study,to respect the principal position of farmers,and promote the farmers’ income to get rich,safeguard farmers’ basic rights and interests,foster new professional farmers,this paper analyzes the contemporary enlightenment of Mao Zedong’s view of peasants during the period of new democratic revolution.As socialism with Chinese characteristics enters a new era,it is of great strategic significance and realistic enlightenment to review Mao Zedong’s view of farmers,which is helpful to break through the dilemma of "three rural issues" and accelerate the socialist modernization.
