| In recent years,public health emergencies(hereinafter referred to as “the health incidents”)have occurred frequently,such as SARS,“San Lu milk powder”incident,“Changchun Changsheng vaccine” incident and the novel coronavirus epidemic in 2020,which has triggered the multi-level and multi-angle consideration of the whole society.The health incidents are important opportunity for ideological and political education,because of the characteristics of burstiness,sociality,gradualness and oppression.Meanwhile,ideological and political education also plays a role that cannot be ignored in the process of dealing with the health incidents,including promoting an orderly and efficient response to health incidents.Therefore,it is necessary to further systematically sort out the functions of ideological and political education in dealing with the health incidents,so as to ultimately achieve the above functions.Public health emergencies refer to the major communicable diseases that happing suddenly and causing or may causing serious damage to public health,mass unexplained diseases,major food and occupational poisoning and other events that seriously affect public health.Ideological and political education in dealing with the health incidents have social and individual functions.Social functions include political functions,that is,to unify the ideological understanding and promote the political stability and development;economic functions,that is,to ensure the development direction of socialist economic construction and create a relatively stable economic development environment;cultural functions,that is,to inherit the excellent traditional culture and improve cultural innovation abilities;ecological functions,that is,to help people to cultivate ecological awareness and guiding people to abide ecological laws and regulations.Individual functions include individual survival functions,that is,to help people to deeply understand the social attributes of people,regulate coping behavior and establish scientific and rational values of life;individual development functions,that is,to improve psychological resilience and strengthen the consciousness of social rules and cultivate patriotism;individual enjoyment functions,that is,to stimulate strong spiritual motivation,enhance happiness experience and promote the realization of self-worth.In order to fully realize the above functions,it is necessary to promote them from the five levels of government,society,school,family and individual.Firstly,we need to give full play to the leading role of the government,improve macro top-level design,and implement relevant policies and systems;Secondly,we need to focus on enhancing social awareness,highlight the propaganda advantages of modern media to ensure the publicity effect,and eliminate negative interference factors to highlight the positive energy;Thirdly,we need to vigorously enhance the carrying capacity of schools,adhere to the combination of theoretical education and social practice,special education and general education,new ways and traditional ways;Fourthly,we need to fully show the influence of family infection,exert the power of example of parents by positively responding to the events,jointly promote ideological sublimation by domestic special parent-child activities;Fifthly,we need to constantly improve personal introspection,strengthen the initiative to reflect on the health incidents,and correct the cognitive bias of the health incidents. |
