| During the 95-year construction and development,the people’s army has always held high the banner of the Communist Party of China(CPC),strengthened its ideals and convictions,and fought courageously for national independence,national liberation and people’s happiness.Through the four historical periods of revolution,construction,reform,and the new era,a series of great revolutionary spirits have been cultivated and inherited,which are deeply embedded in the genes and traditions of the people’s army.They are the secret weapons for the people’s army to defeat the enemy,and constitute a distinct background for the development and growth of the army.Reviewing the history of CPC and People’s Liberation Army of China(PLA),this paper examines the process of cultivating and inheriting the revolutionary spirit in different historical periods which based on the main dimension of the people’s army.CPC has led the people’s army to realize the revolutionary spirit deep transformation from the scientific connotation construction to the inheritance and innovation,to keeping pace with the times and then to consciously casting the consciousness.The experience and practice of the people’s army in cultivating and inheriting the revolutionary spirit is constantly enriching and improving.In the new era,this has important theoretical value and practical significance for further study of the value implication of the nurture and inheritance of the revolutionary spirit,enriching and developing the connotation of the revolutionary spirit of CPC,and giving full play to the leading role of the revolutionary spirit.The cultivation and inheritance of the revolutionary spirit of CPC by the people’s army is a vivid manifestation of its original mission,nature and purpose.It is also the source of ability for strengthening army through promoting reform and realizing the reunification of the motherland.No matter how far we go and how glorious the future is,the revolutionary spirit of CPC is always the true character and eternal pursuit of the army.In the great journey of making CPC,the nation and the army stronger,striving to modernize national defense and the army,and building a world-class army,the people’s army in the new era must everything well,such as carrying forward the revolutionary spirit,absorbing the experience of winning battles,and properly fulfilling the missions and tasks of the new era entrusted by CPC and the people.This paper mainly focuses on four aspects which are the origin,historical,practical significance and inheritance of the revolutionary spirit of CPC.In the first part,it is the introduction which briefly introduces the research significance,research ideas,research methods,innovations,difficulties and definitions of related concepts.In the second part,it systematically explains the background of the formation and development of the revolutionary spirit of CPC through three sides.Firstly,Marxist theory and Marxism in China are the profound theoretical foundation of revolutionary spirit.Secondly,the fine Chinese tradition and the advanced civilization of the world are the cultural deposits with distinctive revolutionary spirit.Thirdly,because of great practice breeding great spirit,CPC’s great struggle and practice in different historical periods constitute the reality basis for the formation of revolutionary spirit.Exploring the source of the revolutionary spirit is not only to enhance the academic implication of research,but also to keep the revolutionary spirit in mind and carry forward the historical consciousness and cultural confidence of the revolutionary spirit.In the third part,it comprehensively sorts the historical and scientific connotation of the of the people’s army’s cultivation and inheritance of the revolutionary spirit of CPC during the hundred-year journey.In the fourth part,it summarizes the core connotations,theoretical value,practical significances and methods of implementation of the revolutionary spirit of CPC in the new era. |
