Although the crime rate of minors in our country has decreased in recent years, there is still a continuous and high level of concern about the crime of minors in society. The problem of juvenile delinquency is still an important issue of great concern to all sectors of society. It is also a hot topic of discussion in all walks of life as to how this particular group of minors involved in crime should be rehabilitated and corrected to effectively prevent recidivism. In order to educate and rehabilitate minors involved in crime, new laws and regulations have been amended to improve the judicial system.Meanwhile, the procuratorial authorities are encouraged and supported to help minors involved in crime with the help of social forces. The social work profession has gradually become an important force in the field of juvenile justice and judicial social workers carry out conditional non-prosecution investigation and support services based on the core concept of helping people to help themselves and on professional theories and working methods. This study is mainly based on the author’s internship experience in the People’s Procuratorate of J County,Jiangxi Province.In-depth interviews were conducted in eight cases to understand the manifestation of problems and causes of conditional non-prosecution of minors. It has been found that the causes of minors’ problems are closely linked to factors such as the minors themselves, their families, peers, schools and the social environment. An important reason for the situation of delinquency among minors is the poor interaction between these systems and the lack of support. On this basis, the author selected Case P as the subject of the study and adopted a casework approach to intervene in the precise rehabilitation of minors with conditional non-prosecution.The whole process is based on the theoretical framework of the ecosystem. After understanding the causes of the clients’crimes and analyzing the problems of the clients and their ecosystems, the author designed the rehabilitation programme around the needs of the clients, and then implemented interventions at the micro, meso and macro levels, including the individual, family, peer group and community levels. At the end of the service, the author evaluated the effectiveness of the service, and finally summarized and reflected on the entire service. In conclusion,it is concluded that a high degree of professional relationship with the client helps to enhance the effectiveness of service;the role transition of social workers helps to fulfil more service functions;and the supportive role of the family system is the key to ensuring good help results. However, there is a lack of involvement in the macro-system of the ecosystem theory, and there is a need to strengthen the linkage of the programme and to expand the ways of data collection and evaluation.Although there are certain shortcomings, the overall correctional effect is reasonable, and it is hoped that it can provide some reference for the theory and practice of social work intervention in the precise correction of minors with conditional non-prosecution.
