Study On Different Marriage Conditions Under Vietnamese And Chinese Law

Marriage is an important legal issue,an essential element for the birth of the family-the foundation of society.Aware of this issue,Vietnam has specific laws about marriage,in which the provisions on marriage conditions are some of the essential contents,forcing the subjects to comply if they intend to establish a legal marriage status.Vietnam is in the transitional period with more changes in the economy,polity,culture and ideas that affect the way of considering marriage.Moreover,law systems around the world,especially in countries of particular areas,are the leading causes of changing Vietnam marriage laws.The methods not only to ensure the civilization and law spirit but also to keep the culture and customs of people,which should be focused on when making laws of marriage and family.The Law on Marriage and Family in Vietnam has changed following the socio-economic conditions;the Law on Marriage and Family 2014 that based on the provisions of the Law on Marriage and Family 2000,has had changes and additions to marriage conditions.The current regulations also reveal inadequacies,not consistent with reality.The current government policy on international integration is carried out in all aspects.Still,the law is one of the essential contents to create legal conditions that meet the needs of economic exchanges,civil relations,and the culture of the country.The Law on Marriage and Family is not outside of this exchange,due to participating in international treaties,the Law on Marriage and Family is also influenced by the world culture.China and Vietnam are neighbors that had a long history of cultural exchanges.In particular,the provisions on marriage conditions in China have similarities and differences with Vietnam’s.Studying and searching for similar and different requirements in both countries is necessary to evaluate all aspects of marriage laws and amass valuable qualities.In conclusion,marriage between Vietnam and Chinese citizens is relatively common,so studying the legal system of both countries in marriage relations,particularly the marriage conditions,is very practical.
