In 2019,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China issued the"Opinions on Implementing the Civil Servants Law and Building a High-Quality and Professional Civil Servants",which put forward new requirements for the improvement of civil servants’ ability and quality.As a kind of job redesign,job crafting can help civil servants combine their own interests and preferences in their work to increase their adaptability to posts and better serve the people.Further,serving the people depends not only on the initiative of government departments,but also the working consciousness of civil servants.Proactive personality,as a tendency to take action to change the stability of people and the surrounding environment,is a valuable personality trait for the working nature and environment of the civil servants.They will undertake more responsibility.Unfortunately,at present,there is less research on the proactive personality of civil servants in academia,while the research on job crafting is in its infancy,and the research on the relationship between the two is even less.In order to make up for the shortcomings of the existing research,this article based on the trait activation theory,empirically tested the relationship between active personality and work remodeling,what’s more,it further discussed the regulatory role of transformative leadership between the two.This article conducted a questionnaire survey on 806 civil servants in Fujian Province.The empirical evidence shows that:(1)Proactive personality has a positive influence on the behavior of civil servants’ job crafting.Transformational leaders play a moderating roie in the process of proactive personality affecting job crafting;(2)There are differences in the impact of different ranks and years of service on job crafting;(3)there are differences in the effects of years of service and establishments on transformational leadership;(4)The effects of different ranks,years of work and establishments on proactive personality.The research conclusion of this paper not only enriches the research results of government departments’ proactive personality,work crafting and transformational leadership,but also provides reference for the construction of civil servant’s team in our country.
