| Based on David Easton’s political system theory, this paper analyses the input, conversion, output and feedback of the decision system in Taiwan Democratic Progressive Party’s Mainland Policy, and explores the changes and trend of the mainland policy of the ruling Democratic Progressive Party that came to power in May 2016.The paper is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, elaborating the significance, research methods and research status of DPP’s mainland policy;the second chapter is based on a brief analysis of the historical evolution of DPP’s mainland policy after the establishment of DPP,and chooses "the Future of Taiwan Resolution"-very representative of DPP’s political policy-as a case study, applying political system theory;the third chapter analyses the main factors and effects of DPP’s mainland policy decision system in such stages as input, transformation, output and feedback,in order to explore the trend of the mainland policy which may include: politically sticking to“Taiwan Independence”,but taking more flexible ways towards "Taiwan independence";economically not objecting to cross-strait exchanges, but settingup various obstacles;culturally furthering the separation from Mainland to implement "cultural independence";"diplomatically" trying to survive in the cracks between China and the United States, seeking to expand the international space for Taiwan;militarily relying on the security protection of the United states, regarding mainland as the main rival;and based on the analysis of the former chapters, the fourth chapter puts forward the coping strategies and measures for mainland, including “four unswerving adherences”-the overall tone of the policy on Taiwan, taking measures to adjust to the change of the DPP’s mainland policy. |
