| The thesis takes HSK Standard Course 4,a widely used Chinese as a foreign language textbook in Vietnam,as the research object.Based on the definition,writing principles,and evaluation standards of Chinese language textbooks for foreigners,a comprehensive application of literature review,comparative analysis,questionnaire survey,quantitative statistics,and "structured" interview methods is used.Through a systematic comparison with Chinese Course 5,this paper attempts to analyze the main reasons why HSK Standard Course 4 in Vietnam can replace Chinese Course 5.Based on the comparison of textbooks and the evaluation of HSK Standard Course 4,Suggestions for the revision of the second edition of HSK Standard Course 4.Specifically,the first chapter of the paper is "Introduction",which is the problem-solving part of the paper.It mainly explains and analyzes the research object and content,research purpose and significance,theoretical basis and research methods,relevant research trends at home and abroad,and the use of Chinese language textbooks in Vietnam.The second,third,and fourth chapters of the paper are the main parts of the research,mainly focusing on the purpose and principles of textbook writing,styles,topics and genres,vocabulary,grammar teaching items,cultural knowledge,and exercises.A systematic comparison is made between HSK Standard Course 4 and Chinese Course 5,and the reasons why HSK Standard Course 4 can replace Chinese Course 5 in Vietnam are explained and analyzed,Based on the questionnaire survey and statistical analysis,suggestions are proposed for the revision of HSK Standard Course 4 from the perspectives of discourse and genre writing,vocabulary,grammar,and practice.The final part of the paper is the "Conclusion of the entire article",which summarizes the research conclusions and proposes the innovation and shortcomings of the research.The paper points out that HSK Standard Course 4 takes into account the cultivation of learners’ comprehensive Chinese language abilities and the improvement of HSK scores,and is more in line with learners’ motivation and needs compared to Chinese Course 5.In the subsequent revision process of HSK Standard Course 4,attention should be paid to further improving and supplementing the topics and genres,vocabulary,grammar,and exercises.The research of the paper aims to effectively improve the pertinence of textbook writing and further improve the efficiency of Vietnamese Chinese language teaching and acquisition. |
