Research On The Communication Strategies Of Chorus Among Chinese Youth Groups

chorus is an art with strong collectivity and easy to evoke collective identity.It is also an art with strong mass character and relatively low threshold.However,such an art which seems easy to spread and popularize has not been more widely spread among young people.When an art that emphasizes collectivism meets young people who attach importance to individual consciousness,there will inevitably be collision,dialogue and even confrontation between them.In recent years,many chorus groups represented by Rainbow Chamber Singers have innovated the content and form of chorus,which is deeply loved by contemporary youth groups.As a result,more young people begin to understand chorus,appreciate chorus,or participate in chorus team.However,in existing choral related literature,as well as choral related academic conferences and forums,most scholars still focus on choral command,choral singing,artistic treatment of choral songs,choral training,choral team management and other issues.From the perspective of communication,it fails to theorize and systematize why the content and form of innovative chorus are more popular among contemporary youth groups.From the perspectives of chorus and communication,this paper,through the research methods of practical observation,questionnaire survey and in-depth interview,sorts out the history of the development of chorus among young people in the first chapter,expounds the current situation of the communication and development of chorus among young people in the current era in the second chapter,and then summarizes the problems in the process of the communication of chorus among young people in the third chapter.Then in the fourth chapter,the problems mentioned in the third chapter are solved one by one,and the Rainbow Chamber Singers is taken as an example to analyze and study the substantial reasons why this group is popular among young people.It is found that the essence of the main problems in the spread of chorus among Chinese youth groups are as follows: first,there are barriers between the "internal environment" and "external environment" of chorus;Secondly,the main contradiction between the collectivity of chorus and the individuality of the youth group lies in that the traditional chorus concept and the youth group confuse "traditional collectivism" and "new collectivism","individual standard" and "the concept of individualism" respectively.In addition,there are three main reasons why Rainbow Chamber Singers is popular among contemporary youth groups: first,it breaks the barrier between "internal environment" and "external environment" of chorus to a certain extent;second,it reconciles the contradiction between collectiveness and individuality to a certain extent;third,it integrates mainstream culture and youth subculture to a certain extent.
