Marx’s "Two Necessities" Thoughts And Their Contemporary Values

"The inevitable demise of capitalism and the inevitable victory of socialism" is a scientific judgment made by Marx and Engels on the future destiny of capitalism and the future prospect of human social development on the basis of the basic principles and methods of historical materialism and a profound analysis of the internal contradictions and movements of capitalism.On the whole,although the academic research on the thought of "two necessities" has achieved gratifying results,there are still many problems to be further studied.With the change of the times,although capitalism has undergone morphological changes from industrial capitalism,commercial or financial capitalism to digital capitalism in external form,it will not get rid of the fate of ultimate extinction because of its limited improvement in essence.Therefore,based on the historical materialism of Marx and Engels,this paper reviews the thought of "two necessities" and grasps its spiritual core,which is undoubtedly of great theoretical and practical significance for us to deeply analyze contemporary capitalism and its new changes,strengthen the confidence of the socialist system,actively promote the innovation and development of Marxism in the contemporary era,and accelerate the pace of Chinese modernization.The basic structure of this paper is divided into four chapters except the introduction.The introduction mainly expounds the reason,significance,research status at home and abroad,possible innovations and so on.The first chapter,starting from the classic texts,combs and analyzes the background of the formation of the thought of "Two Inevitables",the respective connotations of "Two Inevitables" namely "the inevitable demise of capitalism" and "the inevitable victory of socialism" and their mutual relations.The second chapter analyzes and evaluates the debate on the relationship between "two necessities" and "two never" in academic circles.On this basis,from the perspective of deepening theory,the proper relationship between "two necessities" and "two never" and its important enlightenment are explained.The third chapter tries to integrate theory with practice,and specifically discusses the practice and tortuous course of the thought of "Two Inevitabilities" in Russia,China and other countries.The fourth chapter refutes and criticizes all kinds of challenges faced by the thought of "two necessities",and puts forward his own views on the contemporary enlightenment of Marx’s thought of "two necessities".
