The Presentation Of "Song And Dance Story" In The Chu Drama Broken Bridge

Opera is a brilliant pearl of Chinese traditional culture.As an important part of it,Chu Opera is loved by people in Hubei province with its unique charm.As a classic part of the classic Chinese love drama The Legend of the White Snake,Broken Bridge tells the story of love and hatred between Lady White,Xiaoqingmei and Xu Xian.By understanding the artistic attributes of Chinese opera and the characteristics of Chu opera,this paper aims to analyze how Chu opera Broken Bridge presents "song"(singing style)and "dance"(body and body language)to play the story,and how the form of singing and dancing in opera blends with national vocal music.The first chapter mainly expounds the artistic property of Chinese opera "story performed by song and dance" from the three perspectives of emotion,aesthetics and commodity property.The second chapter of the article mainly starts with the characteristics of the democratization of Chu opera itself and discusses the characteristics of the democratization of Chu opera from three perspectives.The third chapter,which is also the most important part of this paper,takes the Broken Bridge of Chu Opera as an example,based on the detailed introduction of the Broken Bridge text and the author’s personal practice,expounds how "song" and "dance"tell stories.The fourth chapter mainly expounds the integration and reference between the study of opera song and dance form and the study of national vocal music.National vocal music is an art form that is constantly absorbed and updated.Chinese opera has long been rooted in the excellent Chinese culture because of its unique song and dance form.Therefore,learning Chinese traditional opera culture can benefit the singing and performing stage of national vocal music greatly,and more professional actors and amateur vocal music lovers can benefit a lot from it.
