Two-dimensional games have become an industry with a high market share and great development potential,which has promoted two-dimensional character illustrations to become a popular art form.However,there were technical difficulties in its creation.With the continuous development of the two-dimensional game and the rapid advancement of technology,the two-dimensional illustration can use more diverse means to express more ideas and more accurately grasp the picture.Among them,the two-dimensional illustrations supported by three-dimensional auxiliary technology gradually appeared in the market,and opened up new ideas for the drawing of traditional illustrations.This article aims to explore the auxiliary application of 3 D technology in the creation of 2 D character illustrations.By introducing technical means such as 3 D models,the creation efficiency and quality of 2 D character illustrations can be improved,and more possibilities and operating space can be provided for creators.In the process of continuous development of the two-dimensional game,the two-dimensional illustration,as an important form of expression,has become an important element to attract players and consumers.However,there are some technical difficulties in the traditional two-dimensional illustration production process.For example,in terms of composition and screen design,traditional hand-painted production may not be able to meet the requirements for details and precision.In order to solve these problems,more and more game companies are beginning to use 3D assistive technology to draw 2D illustrations.Compared with traditional two-dimensional hand-painted production,three-dimensional auxiliary technology can provide more novel styles and more creative picture ideas.In addition,3D technology can provide richer sources of inspiration for the composition of illustrations,making it easier for creators to obtain and use various elements,thereby improving the quality and popularity of works.Among them,the application of 3 D assistive technology in the production of two-dimensional character illustrations is particularly eye-catching.By using 3D modeling technology,creators can more accurately express character images and movements.In addition,the use of 3D model technology can also quickly generate multiple character images with different angles and poses,which greatly improves the efficiency of illustration production.In addition,3D technology can also provide a more free operating space for the production of 2D illustrations.Creators can freely set light sources,materials,and textures in three-dimensional space,thereby creating more textured and three-dimensional works of art.In this context,this article attempts to explore the application of 3 D technology in the creation of two-dimensional character illustrations,in order to provide more possibilities and room for operation for the industry.In practical applications,more and more game companies have adopted 3D assistive technology to draw 2D illustrations,and this process has become a mainstream way of creating 2D character illustrations.Compared with traditional hand-painted illustrations,the novel style and production process of 3 D assistive technology are more in line with the aesthetic needs of modern consumers and have stronger commercial value.Therefore,this article aims to explore the application of 3D technology in the creation of two-dimensional character illustrations,and provide creators with more creative ideas and operating skills,in order to promote the development of two-dimensional character illustrations.This article will combine examples to discuss in depth the application essentials of using3 D assistive technology to make 2 D illustrations.First,we will start with the definition of two-dimensional illustration,and elaborate on its characteristics and elements,laying the foundation for the subsequent discussion on three-dimensional assistive technology.Then,the 3 D assistive technology will be discussed in detail,including its concept,characteristics,tools and usage methods,so as to help readers fully understand the technology.Subsequently,it will discuss the practical application methods and essentials of using 3 D assistive technology in the creation of two-dimensional characters,as well as its advantages and disadvantages compared with traditional illustration drawing methods.Finally,the 3 D assistive technology process will be compared with the traditional digital hand-drawing process,the characteristics between the two will be analyzed,and the application range and applicable objects will be summarized.Through the discussion of this article,readers will learn the specific methods and techniques of using 3 D assistive technology to make two-dimensional illustrations,as well as the practical application effects,advantages and disadvantages brought by this technology,which will help readers understand and master this technology more comprehensively.
