The advent of globalization has accelerated the communication between countries,and English has become an important tool for various cultural exchanges.In this process,we cannot deny the rapid development of foreign language education,but we should pay attention to the problem of cultural safety in foreign language education which also arises at the same time.Good policy is essential,but education is needed as a strong support.Middle school is a crucial period for the formation of a person’s values.Therefore,how to strengthen the cultural safety education and protect the cultural safety of middle school have become an important research topic.This thesis takes national cultural security as the background to deeply explore the English education of A middle school,and selects part of the English teachers and students of A middle school as the research objects,through questionnaires and interviews and other tools to understand the current English education of A middle school in the implementation of practical education activities,such as cultural security and other related problems.The thesis puts forward corresponding countermeasures from the perspective of school management.It provides a theoretical reference for better understanding of the current development of foreign language education.The thesis finds that middle school students’ cultural consciousness,cultural criticism and cultural safety awareness are not very high.In English education,we should pay attention to telling Chinese stories well in world languages,guiding middle school students to deepen their understanding of the differences in the process of globalization to maintain national culture and strengthen cultural safety education.When implementing middle school English education,schools should start from the prevention mechanism,daily management mechanism,coping mechanism and evaluation mechanism on the basis of collaborative governance theory,taking cultural integration as the core,cultural innovation as the goal,and establish cultural confidence as the fundamental.
