Study On The Application Of Expressionist Painting Modeling Language In Experimental Animation

Since the beginning of the 20 th century,experimental animation,mainly in Europe,the United States and Japan,has developed particularly rapidly,showing more diverse types of creation and more diversified artistic techniques.However,the research of expressionist elements in experimental animation is mostly in the form of painting.However,the discussion on the artistic language of experimental animation is limited to audio-visual language,visual language and other aspects,while the research on modeling language is very lacking.The study of expressionist painting modeling language in experimental animation is more scarce,and the study of expressionist painting modeling language applied in experimental animation is almost blank.Therefore,starting from experimental animation and expressionist painting,this paper analyzes the characteristics and feasibility of expressionist painting modeling language in experimental animation,and tries to summarize three characteristics: flat exaggerated modeling style,bright specific color elements and catharsis of personal emotions.This paper summarizes the feasibility of combining expressionist painting modeling language with experimental animation from three aspects: experimental,improving picture effect and complementing each other.Secondly,it discusses the application of expressionist painting modeling language in experimental animation from the aspects of form and method,and tries to summarize the three application forms of flexible and diverse picture styles,gorgeous and exaggerated color elements and the application of digital creation tools.Summarize the geometric pattern of rhythm,the embodiment and complexity of image,the creation of hand-painted texture and the application methods of color contrast and collision.Finally,the experimental animation "My Head Is Not Sleepy" is created to explore the specific application of expressionist painting modeling language in the work,confirming the theoretical research results mentioned above.It provides theoretical support for the application of expressionist painting modeling language in experimental animation and infuses new power to promote the development of experimental animation.
